Does anyone know if this particular arrangement was ever recorded and released either as a single or on an album? The version of "get it" available on her album "a long story" (with George Benson, I think) is quite different. I'd be grateful for any information. Thanks in advance!

I am sooo glad for related vids, so I found you . I had to fav this one. I was blessed to work with Eliane Elias, once for a show in Albuquerque. Friends, I WILL NEVER, ever, forget it! Back in 2000/1. She is an angel to work with, hospitality, meet&greet, airport, hotel, the whole production was a Blast. And sooo many of my friends don't know who she is... Gives me a chance to talk to many, here, that luv her, Bravo!

this song is called 'Get It" from a great cd of Eliane's called a long Story from 1990 ...a great great cd, but it's out of print.You might find it on eBay.

If you are searching for "A Long Story" (1991), the copy I have says "Manhattan, a Blue Note label # CDP 7 95476 2". It also says "MANHATTAN is a registered trademark of Capitol Records, Inc.." Her other super original benchmark-making fusion recording, "So far So Close" (Blue Note 1989) are 2 of my all-time favorite recordings.
