I had such high hopes for The Volt, the prototype looked beautiful, but GM went ahead and changed the body, making it look like any other American P.O.S
.... and some wonder why Toyota just became the number one company in the world .... it's just sad :-(
"[at the LA auto show] is set to unveil its electric two-seater version of the Mini Cooper, the "Mini E," which it will have on the roads of California, New York and New Jersey in a lease fleet of 500 cars early next year. The new "Mini E" took 10 months to develop, and more than 9,500 people already have signed up on a Web site to receive applications to lease the vehicle for a year -- at $850 a month."
I always suspected that Volt ain't built to be a Hybrid as Japanese brands do, but something else with sustainability by the great American way.

What is the Volt?
the Volt is GMs desperate attempt to be perceived to be green
and to create an unafordable vehicle that doesnt exist nor proven. If gasoline was selling for $1,50 a gallon theyd still be marketing HUMMERS instead
its a marketing hype to get congress to give them a handout to sustain their $16million salary will driving the company to the ground

You conveniently forgot to mention that Mini had to take the rear seat out to make the batteries fit. Take your rants and spamming elsewhere.
