Dam, I wish I had these graphics for the Visual Novel (though that was LONG ago) lol. Its like remastered Blue-Ray (nevertheless anime + movie = bad story, rush jobbed, after playing VN). But the animation is definitely good for a few plot areas.

Berserker reminds me of Nosferatu Zodd in Berserk manga. He even uses a similiar blade-axe.

On an unrelated note, I love Gilgamesh. For reasons I can't name, he's one of my favorite characters in the series.

ok to everyone who is confused about this. This opening is for a fate/stay night OVA, which is basically a recap of the anime but with some scenes happening differently. There is ALSO a fate/stay night movie which has come out, which is based on Unlimited Blade Works, a route focusing on Archer and Shiro. alot of different stuff happens in that route and the plot isnt the same. this OVA, however, is basically the same as the anime just with different scenes.

@dragonraizen wad? the movie isnt a recap, its made from one of the 3 routes in the v/n, the unlimited blade works arc. The tv series is made from the fate arc. different storylines but same characters.

originaly, fatestay night was a visual novel with 3 routs. The 1st anime used as a base the route ~fate~, but mixed some scenes of the routes hevane`s fell and unlimited blade works. Now, they probably will make a animation for each rout .

According to Neowing, two-part recap OVA of "Fate/stay night" was announced to be released on January 22nd, 2010. The title is "Fate/stay night TV Reproduction" and the 24 episodes of the TV series will be re-filmed and edited into two 60 min episodes. The OP animation will be renewed and Tainaka Sachi will sing new theme songs.

Those are just 2 OVA recompilating Fate/stay nigh Fate made to mark the release of Fate/stay night Unlimited Blade Works. Both reproduction 1 and 2 will each re-edit and re-shoot the contents of 12 episodes.

Don't bother watching the reproduction movies. They are just cut and paste from the 24 episode anime into 2 hours (both about 50 minutes long). The only thing new is the OP and ED credits.

They are the anime remade into 12 episodes. For those people that didn't like how horrible the story was put together the first time through, they would want to watch this. For all we know it could end better. Fate wasn't a large route to begin with, so it could easily be done in that amount.

Are you sure? Because Fate/stay night reproduction is just 50 minutes long for both OVAs with cut and paste from the original 24 episode anime. I would know because I downloaded it and watched it straight through. Unless there was another Fate route released along with these OVAs?

I can't believe that they would go and release something that was just a mesh of the past episodes when they're going to call it new. Especially when the OP/ED they would be giving it are a much higher quality then the old footage.

Well, this opening is the opening to the two OVAs for the Fate route's reproduction which is what I was talking about: two 50 minute episodes with cut and paste material from the 24 episodes. The only things new are the OP and ED credits, very few 1 second retouches. Also, CG dragon was cut.

The budget went towards the UBW movie.
