this was the first real game i got into. games in the 90s not as polished as they are now but i still have more feeling for them than modern games. resident evil for life

when you complete the game, you can play on the arange mode, and oyu start with a similar weapon, the one you atart with, is Grey / gray, thaty one was black :O

If I'm not mistaken, in the director's cut release; the medium difficulty level is the original game with no changes, while the hard one is the director's cut (and then there's an easy mode too). Meaning you don't need to own the original RE if you wanna play both the director's cut and the original game.

I played the original then director's cut. I think that if your first start to play RE, play the original because director's cut is a little more difficult. :)

i played that director's cut game 1st,, then the original, that's the only way i realized about the diferences, i prefer the original

mmmm it depends on you, i know many ppl who prefer the director's cut... the diferences are the music, the camera angles, dificulties (3 dificulties) and both are good, but i recomend you to play the original and you decide

just use an emulator and download the rom and voila you can play all psx games on your PC

my comp is a fuckin mess so i really doubt it would work

on my old computer 1.5ghz pentium 4 it played without any problem. if you have a nice videocard and 512mb system memory you'll be fine. I'm playing everything on max, but my pc is 3,2ghz P4 HT with 1,5gb system memory doesn't has any problem. you can always try ;) and it's not your pc but also the emulator. If the emulator is bad then it won't work good unless you've got a very strong PC. :)
