@kanara508 Only Southern Vietnam is tropical; sat right on the equator. The north is not, that's why it's colder. Put this in mind, from North Vietnam to South Vietnam is 1000 MILES LONG, almost the same distance from Canada to Mexico. Therefore, the northern Vietnamese are lighter-skinned than the Southern Vietnamese.
