These are horrible headphones! I'm not gonna say that the sound is bad because for 50 bucks its actually ok but they are sooo uncomfortable because they are so heavy! The padding is also extremely uncomfortable! If you only have 50 bucks for a budget to buy heaphones just go with a nice pair of earbuds instead or something because buying these was the biggest waste of money ever for me personaly. Also there is absolutely no base!!!!!!! They only go loud thats it! Just Horrible.

Furthermore, I find it hard to understand how anyone could accurately judge the quality of a pair of headphones with crappy 128 kb/ps music. It would be more appropriate to test these headphones with lossless audio.

As a devout audiophile, I am quite amused to hear most people reference Bose as the best brand in headphones. Any audiophile would chuckle at such a statement. My suggestion for a good entry-levle pair of headphones with superb sound quality is the Grado SR-60 model. Of course, the AKG k-240's are classic, but a bit pricier. Mind you that sound is of the utmost importance, not the look.

By the way, DJ headphones aren't for use with iPods.
