Nkotb are still a cheap copy of New Editon! Blockheads have forgotten about the backlash against the NKOTB. They were mocked by the media and eventually broke up partly because no one took them seriously. They NEVER paved the way for Bsb or Nsync! Nkotb are the reason why the other boybands had a hard time becoming successful, because of the backlash against them.

They technically did pave the way for bsb/nsync..Lou Pearlman who was bsb/nsync/LFO former boss posted an ad saying he was looking for "male vocal groups ala nkotb" Jon Knight of nkotb even invested in the bsb/nsync when they were first starting out. Johnny Wright who was NKOTB tour manager/bus driver became BSB/NSYNC manager. New Edition is just a copy of Jackson 5..Thats how they were formed because Maurice Starr was tryin to copy Jackson 5 success
