Dear Mr Brown, As we all know jobs are number one, i would like to invite you to watch my video on you tube( weldbuilt corporation latex donning machine) Based here in ma, i have a prototype built and i'm seeking to license to further it's marketabilty, it's patented in the us and canada, i look forward to hearing from you. Thank you, Kurwin Binder.
You say that premiums will go up with the healthcare bill. Does this mean that if the bill is repealed the premiums will go down significantly? Let's be real, the answer is no. Or will access for those without be improved? No, again. If you could come up with a plan where insurance access isn't dependent on access through an employer, that would create true "freedom". How many people are working for an employer only to hold onto their insurance? Think of the possibilities.
I like what your doing Scott and I'm a registered Democrat, however, please consider supporting the southcoast commuter rail to New Bedford and Fall River, it would help create jobs in the area of the state that needs it most!
Senator, while I strongly disagree with your push to repeal the entire Health Care law, I commend you for supporting both the Democratic and Republic bills to repeal the 1099 reporting requirement. Congress needs that get-it-done bipartisan spirit now more than ever if we want to avoid total gridlock.
Scott, why did you vote 'No' to Ron Paul's bill to Audit the Federal Reserve? Are you with the banks, or are you with the people? Looks like you're with the banks.
This is good Scott. I like your bipartisan speak, however you almost lost me on the first part of the video which sounded like the same old rhetoric of republicans bashing democrats when its the republicans who really and truly got us into this mess, including the necessary attempt to shore up the economy because of what Obama was left with. Keep up the good work and I hope you stay on the path of just talking about what you can do to help and how you are going to do that.
@ungermcs..Republicans didn't get us into this mess, the stage for this mess was set pre- Bush era. Bush worked with what he had (wasn't a bush fan) and Obama cripled the deficit 10 fold, putting this country square in bankruptcys eyes. Our country is in real trouble, and Obama is to blame period. Bush didn't choose to carelessly spend 1 trillion on junk. Obama did. Bush didn't choose to illegally force citizens to purchase healthplans,Obama did (and it will cost you) Read your economics history
@grnbarrealtors hmmm, I don't really like to argue politics and maybe I have this wrong but I'm remembering that the government grew at an alarming rate under Reagan and so did spending and the deficit, then under Clinton we had a surplus. Then Bush came along and we had bigger government again and a huge deficit, like the largest in history, 11 trillion or something like that. Obama added a few trillion to try to fix the mess. Now he's to blame?
@ungermcs ...wow...it amazes me that people don't know why we had a surplus under Clinton.....not gonna go there, if you don't pay attention, thats not my issue. It also amazes me that people don't understand that the added "few trillion", none of which has been accounted for or has done anything to help the economy, is money we don't have. Obama is an excellent motivational speaker, thats it. He has no business running a country. Period. I may as well be the president.
@ungermcs ...It amazes me that people don't know why we had a surplus under Clinton...not gonna go there...If you don't pay attention, thats not my issue. It also amazes me that the "few trillion" Obama spent is poorly managed, not accounted for, and has done NO good at all. It was money we didn't have. When my household budget is in the red, i cut spending, i don't ask China for money. Obama is an excellent speaker, thats it. He has no business running a country. I may as well be president.
Scott, there need to be more straightforward people like yourself who are "real" people getting to the bottom of the problems in this country. I am terrified of what is going to happen when the dollar crashes, because it has been so devalued. Please help us get our country out of this impossibly deep hole we have dug ourselves into. Thanks for sending these video updates out--it shows you care and are working on things!!!
Great ideas. Sounds like your'e working hard for us--it will be good for you and for your loved ones too. All I can say is , It's about time! Please work for the preservation of our environment, too. What is more important than the air we breathe, the water we drink and the animals and plants that are necessary for life.
If the republicans have a shot in the dark to get a candidate into the white house, it's this guy.And yes, there are "flaws" in any given proposal, but he is in this to help the people, not hurt us.He tells it the way it is, and that gets him in trouble sometimes. But I respect that in him.Good ideas Scott, just have to get the politics out of the white-house first. I'd would quit on the first day.Get on the Republican ticket Scott, just not sure of your running mate at this time. Go for it!!!
Your right on the money Sen. Brown. However, I believe that two things must happen to bring our country back. (1) A national sales tax and no more IRS. (2) immediately raise the interest rates the fed charges to 5%. This will make our dollar worth more and subsequently effect the national debt because of our dollar value on the international money market.
With a national sales tax people who pay nothing now will be contributing. Also, the stigma of the IRS would no longer stifle the small busi
Your ideas are good. Show us your willingness to work with D's to make them reality. Some of your video was simply 'bashing' of the Administration on spending, when two wars, the financial crisis and a deepening recession forced that spending; much of which the US Government will recoup with interest. Give credit, rather than throw spears..... it will go a long way. This state should have a Republican senator. Avoid the partisan rhetoric whenever you can. It'll work wonders at the polls.
There are thousands of us here in MA that are not only watching intently, but hoping you do what we sent you to do. So far the signals are good. Don't lose sight of jobs for the unskilled or limited skilled people. The high tech is the lifeblood of taxation, but get the lower skilled people employed and off gov't care and we all win... Never mind the moral boost.... Go Scott go!
