@gaycowboy31 My contacts say it should be active for the 2010 season. It's been on hiatus in 2009 due to the economy crash. CP supposedly took advantrage of the downtime to do some major work on the locomotive.
Hopefully I'll see it again in Okotoks and get a chance to use my HD camera on it...
@Historymaker2001 that would be great I was suposed to do a trip in september with it where we would be passing through Okotokes on the final leg back to Calgary but I got the word it was canceled because 2816 wasnt done or ready by than all they told us was it was a canceled trip however I pass through there at least one time a year on the Royal Canadian Pacific
very nice I have definatlly been here a few times mostlly on the RCP and once on 2816 I miss this engine
