I was asked by someboddy.. Who am i voting for the next president of USA?. I said to him."Jacque Fresco" and he said who is he -" some kind of new candidate" ? I said yes, he is new and if there is a God out there that we pray in, his name must be Jacque Fresco. I love you Jacque.

@suteners2111 We live in a world of perpetual split-second change. Just by eating changes the weight of a human. No two objects are the same, get any two items and then look at them on a microscopic level. I assume you meant the values and behavior of a human cant change. How do you explain the behavior and values of the dark ages in comparison to now? Where you the same when you were 5 years old 10, 15 years old? I change everyday because i learn more everyday.

I believe it should be this way that youngsters should be taught by their much older familly members who are wise but here is the problem and of course in my case i would agree that my ego is a problem too :)

@monkyyy0 You do it for the future, in other words. When those children become adults and have children of their own they will understand the mistakes their parents have taught them and not repeat it. Small Children are not racist, angry or bigoted, they are TAUGHT those things by society.

I just want to cry. I really love this, I really do. This is the only way we go advance and become Type 1 civilization. But it won't happen. People are too afraid of their governments, people are afraid to be without money and power. And those in power would NEVER EVER give it up. I really do want to see this happen... We are just too deep into it.

@ppatricide I am exactly in your position. I can see clearly how our system is so fraudulent. I feel like doing something...but don't know what. When I first heard about the concept of Type 1 civilization from Michio Kaku, i wished i could live till that day to see it happen. But i highly doubt it with the state of our affairs :'(

There is abundance of air to breath - that is why most of people do not care about pollution, there is an abundance of useless and low quality information in the world - and people are consuming it without caring what they are 'eating'.

Those are interesting concepts. You need to see them implemented and tested in real-life situation.

WE NEED TO BREAK AWAY FROM THE ARTIFICIALITY, THE REGIMENTATION THAT HAS DOMINATED OUR SOCIETY TODAY. everybody should and must listen to fresco if we are to become a better species. @thrbamf The way people are raised in The Venus Project is different than they are today. Jealousy with "love" relationships would be dealt with in the early education. People would learn how to relate to one another and obtain a relevant language not based so much on feeling tone but on how well the relationship works. Relationships would be based upon being helpful to one another and the community.

@thrbamf think of it this way, people who have not a lot, compared to the person who has a lot, tend to be jealous of a person who has more, so the person who has little commits act's of crime like murder, to get what it wants because of scarcity. laws are made to control people in a society since scarcity is so high, since no one has, an example money, people would kill to get what they want as a passion or not, if there were no laws. so with no laws domestic violence would be so worse.

If you look into it, it could be a scarcity of love from family as they grew up. Think much deeper then just physical scarcity. Emotional Scarcity causes much more effect on people then what society gives it currently. The idea that allowing a baby to cry themselves out, is just wrong. Watch the interviews from Zeitgeist Moving Forward. It gives the child the idea that they are alone in the world and must fend for themselves.

@thrbamf it wont be possible to eliminate bad values "completely "- but the vast majority of crime is monetary related - and some marriges/personal relationships are as well. there alot of abhorent behavior and violent non monetary crimes are somewhat connected to overall inequality and monetary suffering - gilligan previous head of criminal socilogical stidies at harvard - shows many studies find economic issues affect peoples overall frustration level - which also affects domestic violence

He says that laws are only because of scarcity, but what about laws today that say people can't use certain 'drugs' even though they grow all over the planet, for free? The reason is not scarcity, but to try keeping people 'safer'.. Say you can't drink so much alcohol and drive.. That has nothing to do with scarcity. No, it doesn't solve the problem, or stop everyone from doing it, but it has nothing to do with scarcity.

@bradwjensen he says (3:00-4:00) laws about speed limits are about CONTROL. he says the solution for that is technology. instead of making a law about how fast to drive there should be technology such as automated cars or a highway system that prevents people from driving over the speed limit.

@bradwjensen instead of treating drug users as criminals and locking them up they should be treated as addicts. if a person has a drug problem the latest scientific knowledge should be applied to learn the cause of the drug problem and treat it accordingly. its more effective than spending billions on "war on drugs" which is a failed effort that will never end. laws do nothing more than reveal the flaws of a society.
