  • wow..they are great not only in making dramas, pop music and movies..

  • This is the english translation of the song:My country, the Philippines, Land of gold and flowers. Love is in her palms Offering beauty and splendor. And to her refinement and beauty, Foreigners were enticed. My country, you were enslaved, Mired in suffering. Even birds that are free to fly, Cage them and they shall cry! How much more for a country so beautiful, Would she not yearn to be free? My Philippines that I treasure, Cradle of my tears and suffering, My dream is To see you truly free!

  • napakaganda ng Pilipinas, mahal na mahal ko tong aking inang bayan!! Proud to be a Filipino and will always be, Salamat sa napakagandang awitin!!

  • Every time I listen to this song, history comes playing back inside my head. And to think I am only 18 and haven't even been conceived the time that my country was fighting for her freedom. This song always makes me cry but at the same time, proud. Proud of my heritage. Proud of our history.

  • THAT is SO BEAUTIFUL, THOSE BEAUTIFUL Korean, girl did such a good job and I played that over and over again... and while listening to that I was crying. Thank you so much ( Gracias Choir) you are the best...

  • mabuhay Korea!

  • Thanks for singing my countries best. God bless you

  • There are 250,000 Koreans in the Philippines. Unfortunately , some have abused the hospitality of the host country.

  • historic composers are more better than today's composers.

  • amazing voice....great song!

  • This is only shows that Filipino music is Universal..

  • This is Great.. I'm touched..

  • This is the ultimate "sad" patriotic song of the Philippines. It's a song you sing in reflection and brings tears to your eyes as you are reminded of your country and your love for it.

  • What???? How could they sing so Fluently with Filipino lyrics?

    I'm impress, 2 thumbs up.

  • Awesome! Great performance! Congrats to all member of the Korean singing group. I can't control my tears, very nice! God Bless.

  • nice !! :)

  • OMG! I'm so touch! Thanks KOREA :)

  • Para Sa 1st EDSA People Power Revolution!!!

    And for PNOY!!!

    Mabuhay Ang Demokrasya!!!

    Mabuhay ang Pilipinas!!!

  • @LeogajeIII Not for EDSA. That was the biggest mistake in Philippine history. This song was wrongly used for nothing but the oligarchs' and the yellow zombies' satisfaction. José Corazón de Jesús made this for something more deserving, the Philippines itself - not the Filipinos who are undisciplined and impudent in general.

  • @willzurmacht To be honest with you: EDSA is not just a FAILED Revolution, it is SUCCESSFUL in Free Talents!

If we don't have People Power, We will not have Charice, Arnel Pineda, Manny Paquiao and other Filipino Favorites. We will end up in the grip of tyranny & oppression! That is my point! That is the true meaning, as we call it, "Diwa ng EDSA!" (the meaning) :)

  • @LeogajeIII You make it quite funny! :))

Sorry can't help it, just that it's too shallow lmao

  • Gostaria que alguém, traduzisse esta música para o português do Brasil.

    Ela é muito linda

  • Bravo !!! Bravo !!! Bravo !!!

  • This doesn't fail to elicit very deep emotions from real Filipinos. Even hearing it being sung by non-Filipinos makes my eyes swell.

  • I share my tears of joy. Koreans understand the real meaning of suffering during the Korean War of the '50's in which many Filipino soldiers sacrificed their own lives to protect South Koreans from the ravages of war perpetrated by North Korea. They haven't forgotten their history. Sadly, we lost ours. This touching reminder for us Filipinos, hopefully, will rekindle our patriotic attitude.

  • @petecadungog very well said!!! a calling to everyone to please encourage patriotism even to our very children

  • This made me cry, especially to see what the Philippines had become now. Beautiful song and beautifully sang. God bless the Philippines and Japan. May Japan recover heal quickly from all that has happened.

  • Beautifully sang - considering they're non-Filipinos. Soloist, conductor, choir - They're great! Did they sing this in the Philippines?

Like the others, can't help the goosebumps and tears of appreciation that the choir has done in giving justice to the song's writer. Thank you so much to the choir, to the youtube.

  • goosebump all over my body, everytime i hear them singing this song...

  • I was teary eyed watching the video. Thank you our Korean brothers and sisters! God bless our country, the Philippines! God bless Korea!

  • Koreans young generation are now migrating to Tagaytay City, Philippines.Once their war ignites, they will start singing our national anthem too, like the Chinese a decade ago

  • AWESOME!!!! I cant help but be teary-eyed, how could our neighbors give this song so much justice. It is very touching!

  • This is just beautiful - very impressive. Thank you very much.

  • Great Job! Love Koreans! Mabuhay!

  • Well done ! beautiful. Very awesome presentation... This song reminds me when I was a little boy. First time I heard it being sung by my neighbor cousin on top of her voice. That was 60 years ago. I never heard it again. The song should be sung in every church during June 12 independence day just like "America The Beautiful" on July 4th and most national holidays. As I'm reading the lyrics the Philippines has not changed. Still a poor third country only rich in sceneries...

  • They sang well and with feelings too. It makes you all the more proud of your country. I believe, this too is a signature song of our former President Cory Aquino and its Laban political party and the Filipino people. Mabuhay ang Pilipinas!

  • Amazing !!!! Just can't believe Koreans can give justice to our Filipino song.Proud to be a Filipino.

  • Thank you very much dear korean choir..Very nice

  • wow~... i mean WOW! great job korean choir. (im filipino)

  • thank you for giving justice to a Filipino song. its nice to hear it being sung by other nationalities. im filipino and i am very happy, hehehe.:D

  • Kamsa hamnida. Chuayo~`

  • This is so good....and with so many Koreans living in our own village, I am reminded that this is, after all, really a small world.

  • are they koreans>

  • amazing! :)

  • I knew it! Koreans are slowly taking over the Philippines :))

  • @MrOxide17 Wrong! Its the other way around. They love the Philippines so much! You know why? One of the Koreans I know told me that we are blessed with so much greenery the whole year round! And this alone is very relaxing to the eyes and to the emotion.

  • As I recover from sickness, the performance I saw and heard makes me more strong and proud to be a Filipino, it was an explendid performance...

  • hmmmm galing naman... taga ceBU NA SILA UY GIATIK LANG MO

  • bravo!!!!!

  • So beautifully sang by Korean youths. What a wonderful rendition. I am misty eyed.

  • SO BEAUTIFUL! Brought tears to my eyes
