Yes this root isreversible only if u flash with odin again/factory reset (including sd card).Ofcource there are no disadvantages thewre are only advantages because u will be super user/admin in your fit.And u will be able to install cool apps which require root permission.Your samsung.ui will reamin same dont worry!!!!!Rooting is similar to adminstrator in windows xp/7/vista!!!!!

Step by step

4.Then switch off phone and wait until vibration.

5.Then hold power button and middle button then you will enter in recovery mode.

6.Then use volume keys for up and down.Then middle button for selection.Then install update from your sd card.

@indapurkar Dude! I did it! With a file named Galaxy_FIT_Rooting.zip it didn't work. But by downloading your file and renaming it to update.zip it work in less that 1 second :D Now it shows me XXXX application requests root permissions and I order it to always grant that ;)

Ok so

Step by step

nice , but u have spent more time on designing the tutorial , an easy way is to Connect via KIES and use superone click , it does trhe rest for you , i have done that , also superone click does this rooting for all phones , i have done in Xperia X8 , samsung galaxy fit and ace , anyway thanks for the job .
