1. thats because your amd chip is newer then the intel chips. 2. were you under a rock when Core 2 launched?
its true that amd was better then intel, but right now Core 2 quad cores put amd to shame. amd just recently moved to there 65 nano meter fab process. intel is going to jump to 45nm late this summer which seems to dust amd even further.
im not a fan boy, i go with the fastest. right now intel is, by far, the fastest

still amd processors used to be a not so good processor. but they changed their tune and now they kick intel. i used to be a intel fan but i have a amd system now that is slower than my intel system and this one without being overclocked will run laps around 2 of my intel systems.

i forgot to tell you people. the processor and motherboard didnt work, yet they still could produce heats as energy would still run threw them. as for the power supply, i wont distroy that its still good. maybe i should try frying an egg on it.
