@QueenJada1 have you been in a Honda BTOB tunnel? You haven't got the time to use band ettiquete to be honest. We can do that at football games or 2-4 way BTOBs but not at honda...they don't give the bands the ability to be able to get that out the way, which if American Honda was smart, they'd do a two day event with battles on friday and field shows on saturdays.

@tmux no, they both play at same volume but i think sousas are more commenly heard played louder. Since sousas are used when marching, hey are mostly used outside. When playing outside you have to feel your horn up more and LOUD fanfares are usually played on a sousa. Tubas are usually playing during concert when balance is a big factor. Marching bands that use Tubas genarally dont play as loud. I play sousa anf tuba so i would know their volumes.

It wouldn't have made a differance. VSU would have blown on the front half, then turned around and blown on the second half just like they did when the other sections there. Circle, semi-circle, square, octagon it doesn't matter. It's all a battle, both sides did well and had fun, leave it at that.

I was there in person and VSU wasn't that loud...it was the tunnel and plus Bama State was warming up.  IF you were there in person you would know what i was talking about...VSU sound good but they not on Bama State level!

BCC's members were in the area but were under strict orders (if you know anything about Mr. Wells then you know that it would be out of character to do anything like this in the tunnel). Much respect to BCC or BCU I should say now. It just so happened that all the battle squads were on the same side of the tunnel. (Thank you Lord.)

I would have loved to see that battle, but VSU was all over ASU. Although, IF ALL of ASU's tuba's were battling vs VSU(with NO interuptions) then it would have been a better battle. But when ASU turned around, and played the what VSU played it was awesome. I was like "Aight ASU don't do it"..but then VSU turned it around and killed them!!
