  • the whites on the edge of the tail suggest it might be a pH burn. maybe u can harden the water and adjust the pH to around 7 to 7.5

  • Look first check after ammonia temperature and pH of the water, if all normal, then do the following, first a bath of permanganate for two hours after knife five consecutive days of treatment with Flagyl., A tablet of 400 mg for each 50 liters of water, after that only knife trade 20% of daily water until it is back to normal eating and, good luck!

  • he might have branchial parasites, o maybe the water temperature is high (above 30ºC)(thats a good temp. for discus, mainly if you suspect the have parasites or the do not eat enough, this causes the water to have less oxigen, and your discus has to breath faster.

    My tank is at 32ºC and my discus breathe as fast as yours, however your discus seems to be some how sick, i can tell by the way "it stands" looking to the bottom and not beeing still as if it were dizzy

  • just want to know your saying your temp is at 32degrees, i bought 2 discus 2day, just wanan know whats a good temp for a comminity tank, its currently set at 30 but reaches roughly 28...
