  • I prefer Reese Witherspoon to the real June Carter

  • @MrSean677 Witherspoon can't hold a candle to June, what the hell are you smoking?

  • @RachelCoolings well from what I hear here she's out of tune, in Walk The Line Reese Witherspoon sings better, it's called an opinion, something you could learn to respect

  • @MrSean677 That is called editing this is live. I'm sure if we heard Witherspoon with out editing, she'd sound like a dying cat. I know it's an opinion and I do respect that, I just say you're wrong.

  • OBDAMI: Whats wrong little man, mommy didnt let you breast feed today? You are powerless. Everyone and their mother knows you just stay online all day and look for people to throw your verbal crap at. Its pointless. You truly are the definition of a pathetic loser. stick a gun in your semen filled mouth and pull the trigger so we can all have a laugh. You nauseate us all.

  • I am an atheist but found a lot of solace in the universal sorrows musings and hopes of someone who just happened on a particular faith and angle and didn't ruin the message and shared enchantment by ramming it down people's necks but as always was willing to share with the persons down depressed lost and even beyond able to have faith like me. R.I.P. John.

  • Have to say I think this was the worst period for Johnny Cash. Humdrum nothing country band mediocrity that thankfully Rick Rubin could see through. It's just still so wonderful that he didn't see off his music career with gigs like this in the memory as opposed to the stripped down soul searching profoundness that performers a quarter of his age would still kill for.

  • John Carter Cash har arva talente sitt etter far sin værtfall :D

    I love this song <3 :D

  • I danced to alot of their toons at Duffys Tavern I wore out the juke box great times indeed.

  • where was Anita? This was very good but where was that beautiful voice?

  • hes the only man in black!

  • Irish and American Country is really not that far apart. The early settlers in the US country are Scot/Irish. Look up Transatlantic Sessions if you are interested.

By the way Cash is an absolute legend.

  • yes, awesome facts, lots of ppl dont realize, matter a fact i heard some ppl try to say that all this kinda music was influenced by african music, thats a bunch a lies, it came with irish and scotish settlers.

  • "this kinda music was influenced by african music, thats a bunch a lies, it came with irish and scotish settlers."

Well said, a professor from yale Willie Ruff thinks African American old style gospel music was influenced by Scottish Gaelic singing and that slaves spoke Scottish Gaelic instead of English.

  • Wow, didnt know John Carter Cash was that good, really like his style.

  • i know it was such a shame, she wasn't that old ither!! RIP, Rosie, June and Johnny!

  • i actually dont like this song but he has a good voice at least

  • these aren't the best renditions of these songs tho!
