how did you get your stop knot on your line after you tested the depth? did you tie it on after, or was it a loose knot that you can adjust to the depth?
you can move the knot up and down on the line even when you tighten it off...don't do it too tight otherwise you might not be able to move it...also let the line and the knot be wet (lubricated) before you move the knot, so it doesn't stretch or weaken the line.
Great video but the title is incorrect. This is a video about float fishing NOT lindy rigging. The Linders are by FAR the most knowledgeable and entertaining fishing crew on television PERIOD.
This segment was pulled out of a longer piece which was titled Lindy Rigging and other methods for Walleye. Sorry for any confusion, it is our mistake.
Good catch. We appreciate attention to details like this and YOU are why we make our shows the way we do.
@onionsonleashed C'mon - how can you even compare Lindner and Larry Dahlberg? Larry is the man! He once said when he dies he wants his ashes placed in a lure mold, and when a fish takes the lure, cut the line so he goes down in the depths forever. Now THATS true passion!
That isn't a lindy rig... its a slip bobber
