Also, the 2000 Italian Grand Prix (where Michael broke down in tears in the press conference) was marred by the death of a track marshall during the first lap. i guess the whole weekend just got to him.

I remember watching it on TV, was a very strange press conference.

@krayziegus The Ferrari wasn't a good car! Dont you remember that in the 1995 there was just 1 victory of Ferrari? Always problems....Schumacher make great Ferrari and Ferrari make great Schumacher! Every year more victories...if you take a look at the 1993 Championship, Schumacher did more good placement than Senna, but the German retired more times than the Brazilian! So...I think that, with the great Senna still in live, Schumacher however became a fantastic driver!!! :)

@shitmacher It's true go and have a look on wiki schumacher outclassed senna with the pole to win ratio! schumacher= 68 to 91 and senna= 65=41 and dont say 'ohh the cars were not as reliable' because prosts ratio is= 33 to 51.

Senna moved to mclaren who won races on regular basis. Schumacher on the other hand moved to ferrari who were a high midfield team and he made them win races in other words he turned the tem into the right direction, where as senna had the winning car ready for him.

for example, donington 93, Senna had the best car in the rain, with the best electronic aids than made even his bad team mate Andretti being really fast...

monaco 84, Senna was really fast, but Stefan Bellof was faster than Senna with an inferior car! (Bellof was as fast as Senna with an inferior engine than Senna´s in the same Mclaren in 1983 tests! Bellof was great!!)

I've to say something to Schumi fans. Believe in Scumi he'll once again show what he's capable of doing. 1996 he moved to Ferrari results started to came in 1999 and reaped from 2000 onwards. He makes team to work around him in a positive synergy he's there results will surely come but for long term success we'll have to wait just like 1996 to 1999 :) I hope he'll be doing from next year.
