  • I love the way Darling says "How likely is that?"

    xD

  • Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you a sitcom WITHOUT a laugh track or live studio audience! Makes a difference, eh?!

  • @ZamfirChannel

    Red Dwarf: Back to Earth.

    JUST SAYIN

  • "Well, glaze my nipples and call me Rita." :D LMAO.

  • First time I saw this was 12 years ago at the millenium dome, good times.

  • By the end of the four BA seasons, it started to really upon the drawn out similes. They were still funny and brilliant, but it started to hint at being formulaic. All the after bits, this especially, were just playing to the formula. This is fairly sh!t, barely 3 classic laughs in the whole thing where the original had 1 every minute.

  • The props are so bad x3

  • LOL its house! and ppl thought he was american lol

  • @logom0 yeah i was too young to know the Blackadder series and Fry and Laurie so I first saw him in House. never occurred to me he was actually British!

  • okay... by 2:46 i realised it was sick even to blackadder standards.

  • @linuslillen01 He he yes indeed!

  • Not good? this is the best thing they used to show on Christmas here in Sweden!

  • Anyone notice the electric lights on the wall towards the end?

  • Comment removed

  • Baldrick, one the unfunniest characters ever. Boring, staid and predictable. A fantastic comedy with amazing characters, hold on, we best have a character for the Lee Evans people. He should have been a mute: "Funny you say that sir"....yawn. Same gag every time

  • "it looks like someones taken some benalin to ease their flem and then coughed the lot onto an avocado"

"funny you should say that becos..." haha

  • When I heard Blackadder's music and the words of it being the last chapter of Blackadder history, I knew it was going to be epic. First, it was Blackadder, secondly, the orchestra version of the theme just sounded awesome.

  • @DarthRushy Do you have any idea where I could find the orchestra theme? I love the music in this special!

  • @o0dballu Sorry, no. I mainly listen to the music by either YouTube or just watching the movie myself. But I really wish they'd make lyrics for Series 3 and Series 4

  • Miranda Richardson looked stunning in this special

  • Elizabeth the first ruled in the time of two watermelons and a bunch of cherries

  • LOL @ Stephen doing a double take at the ass @2:44

  • Blackadder is legendary

  • @mozdonny Wellto tell you the truth it was not the best of all but this was not exactly an episode! It was infact a special extra episode.

  • @youtoubakias Yes indeed it was a special .].

Though It was somehow unfitting Imo.

  • Excruciatingly unfunny.

  • I cannot refrain from using the word 'adorable' in every sentence I speak about Miranda Richardson.

  • 0:30 I cant stop laughing

  • 5:45 FAIL! Camera man i closing the door

  • the only people who think the laughing is integral are people don't get the jokes anyway so can't laugh for themselves

  • I love this version of blackadder, I like the roman sequence with the competition of the shortest tunic contest , and general Melchius wins by wow he is not wearing a tunic.

  • They threw a Roman helmet, Wellington's boots and Baldrick's underwear at the rex. There goes causality ! :-P ;-))

  • baldric pressed the dislike button

  • The bird who plays queen elizabeth is still pretty hot

  • BAHAHAHAHAHAHA giving Churchill the finger. lol

  • 01:06

  • 05:47 I lol'd. Memeber of the production team in the background.

  • my fave blackadder theme at the begginning

  • @Wolfypuppygirl8 Is that because that is the version of Blackadder that sounds most epic and like The-end-of-the-super-dynasty-is-here like.

  • I would in fact marry Balders, if I was either gay or he was a realoly ugly chick

  • yolu are, in fact, the greatest genius in the world......

  • I am not putting him down, but why do I feel that that is how Stephen Fry would really react if someone invented a time machine?

  • This is still hilarious. Don't need the recorded laughs to make me laugh. Good stuff!

  • @KenCaesarXL Ofcourse there's no need to serve you the laughs like an sitcom! you are free to laugh whenever you like this is the right thing to do in movies like this!

  • @KenCaesarXL Agreed, but I found the recorded laughs useful when I was watching Blackadder Goes Forth with my history class. My teacher and I were the only two laughing, so the laugh track made me feel a bit less embarrassed!

  • @Gubbywubby I can see how it would help : ) for sure!

  • Best TARDIS ever? Pretty damn close...

  • "The greatest genius who have ever lived"

"Thank you very much my lord"

Always crack me up, it's how Baldrick responds so naturally without excitementXD

  • I found "the making" side-piece about this better than the actual Back n Forth...

  • So annoying the way Percy was completely dropped after series II, they could have easily had him in the scene with Queenie, Melchie and Nursie- instead they had Tim McInnerny play those stupid Darling characters. It would have been great if Blackadder confused Percy with Darling :(

  • @cameronboy18 It may be annoying, but McInnerny himself didn't want to do Percy ever anymore cos he feared he'd be typecast(which he would've been) and did Darling. I personally just consider Darling to be Percy's descendant and changed like Blackadder did after Series 1.

  • in the pics at the start it looks too much like Mr. Bean than Blackadder.

  • @lukakiwi Well, they are played by the same person.

  • @formulacountdown i meant the style

  • Sodd off lol

  • the only problem i have with this now is, altho the title sequence pictures are funny, they look more like mr bean through the ages, blackadder in photos just isnt that silly, unless most incarnations of him are more like series 1 and just the lucky few are born with brains

  • @SnoocheeBoochees Actually I've noticed that whenever a Blackadder talks about relatives, he claims they are stupid or weird.

  • i still love this as much as i did as a kid. To me, the laugh track and style never mattered, the humor was there and the lack of audience laughter just let me hear rowan give that brilliant dialogue that much better

  • Pause at 5:47, there is clearly somebody pushing the door of the time machine up!

  • @patchsmovingcastle Details my friend details!

  • @patchsmovingcastle That's Mr Da Vinci, obviously.

    Who else?

  • they tried to make it like a film and blackadder was never about that, and they removed the audience laughter thats always gonna fuck things up because we are used to it bein there its crap without it, red dwarf is guilty of that too a complete shit stain on tv the last episode dismall

  • @pcfaulkner They tried their best my friend thats the whole idea,i realize that this is not their best but datails like the backround laughter and that they have tried to make it like a movie its not so importand!

  • @youtoubakias but thats my point blackadder and red dwarf were never movie material, they were best as they were but if you are used to there being laughter over the show then if you take it away after so many years of being used to it it becomes completley different and therefore not thet same they just did not do it right anywhoo could go on for ages so peace be with you

  • @pcfaulkner Yes it was not destined for a movie my friend you are right there and yes it is shame that they removed some cool stuff like the back laughs.it makes it prety diferend than the original but it was cool enough to see it!

  • @youtoubakias we both make a good point, we are both blackadder fans in the end

  • @pcfaulkner What the fuck? You haven't given one rational or compelling reason why it is inferior due to not having a laughter track. You say it is worse because you aren't used to it. Well get used to it. So when you experience a new (at that time) development like 3D or surround sound or touch-screen technology or motion capture etc etc do you act like a complete Luddite and pooh pooh these new advances? You probably do. Moron!!

  • @pcfaulkner You complete fool. Canned laughter is moronic and patronising. If something is supposed to be amusing why is it thought that we need to hear a bunch of morons laughing to find it funny? Do you need it so you know when to laugh? Can't you get the jokes without it? I hate canned laughter, unfortunately producers and directors feel that it is almost obligatory to include it. So many great comedies are made lesser due to the distracting and annoying laughter track that accompanies them.

  • hahaha, like how he wants to chase the dinosaur away with the words: sod off

  • The magic is gone. Not the same as 2,3,and 4.

  • @smichael61 Well you can say that they do their best though!

  • Love the kidney failure practical joke LOL!

  • It's not the same without laughing tracks

  • SNIFF MY SKINNIES!!! LOL!!!

  • Baldrick Dogdy Catering Co. god that made me laugh!

  • I think that i MUST buy the limited edition Blackadder series!

About this video "Blackadder Back and Forth", is that a movie about the sequel of series???

Tell me if i was wrong.

  • @DragonBleu01 I dont know actualy if they are gonna make another movie, but for the case this is actualy a sequel and probably the last of the black adder saga! It would be cool though to see a new black adder film that will be a full length movie of 90 minutes with blacky!

  • @youtoubakias That's lastest episodes of Blackadder?

I haven't started to watch Blackadder yet. But i watched some clips here (on YouTube)... lol

  • @DragonBleu01 Actualy this is the finale of the series that ends in the distant future with blacky finaly takes hir rightful place as a high authority somewhere! the black adder series was a small one about six or seven episodes!

  • @youtoubakias Oh i understand, thanks you very much for explain. ^^

  • What is the music at 09:12?! It's so good!

  • LOVE BRITISH COMEDY.

  • Love Blackadder, wish the theme tune was the National anthem haha.

but i must say I wish this had an audience laugh track. I saw it on tv with an audience track first then on video with out and took me a while to notice, didn't feel as funny without it.

  • Did anybody else notice one of the film crew pushing the door closed at 5:46 :)

  • @vcwycombe Yes i do remember the scene and its someone from back!

  • @Stolemyusename No, that would be strange for a feature film

  • this was on gold yesterday

  • "SOD. OFF!"

  • I think I watched this at the Millenium Dome :D

  • Is that a portrait of Captain Blackadder behind Edmund?

  • toast to peace and understandng around the globe. Over the last eleven years, this hasn't worked.

  • @desepardos184 and unfortunately it's gonna get worse before it gets better im afraid

  • haha love it

he just told the T-Rex to Sod off

  • To what is the toast?? please!

  • RANDOM CREW MEMBER SHOT LOL!

  • no laughing track?

  • @Stolemyusename The old ones were filmed in front of a live audience, this one was more of a high budget one with full set pieces.

  • i can watch this over and over again and not tire so far -- atkinson is such a sexy nerd, his humor is even better than monty´s to me...

  • One person is a Captain Darling.

  • haha the picture at 00:54 !!!

  • My favourite!!!!

  • Dont you just hate it when Americans say "Oh my Gawd its House! Look you mofo's its House with a goddamn mofoing limey accent, ya'll yeehahh". I do.

  • Darling is so fit!

  • hahahahaha...so hopeful of the 21st century...

  • Hi guys!!

Nowadays I'm translating a werkfilm about Blackadder.

    It's called Baldrick's video diary.

But I need the text, because I don't really understand what they say.

Although I have downloaded a text, but no sooner had I done it, than I realised, that this is not the whole text.

So I need somebody who can write the missing parts of the text (after hearing, of course).

I would be damn grateful, if somebody did it.

If somebody says (s)he can do it, I send him/her the text and the video.

  • the one person who disliked this was eaten by that T-Rex XD

  • That theme does sound great !

  • 9:40 the castle interior from season 1.

  • @jaapoproduction ya it is to

  • 9:40 is that the castle interior from the first blackadder season.

  • Haha look at 05:47, you can see a random guy helping with the bridge!! ^^

  • @FallOfRequest whoah awesome

    thats a fail

  • @FallOfRequest That's Ben Elton himself!

  • people i'm sure we can agree on one thing - hugh laurie and rowan atkinson are great in this, so just shut up and enjoy! :)

  • @use6less I always enjpoy both of them and i cant shud up for the exitement!

  • 0:50 I love this movie

  • Crew in shot; lifting ramp at 5:46

  • Thats cold..

why good moring there. My, you're looking old and ugly today!

just couldn't get that out of my mind after that, she says it so inquisitively xD

  • How about shut up with the House references, it's irrelevant?

  • @Clivepom What exacrly did you mean by that i dont get it!

  • @youtoubakias People making reference to the American TV show, House.

  • @Clivepom What is this "House" you speak of?

  • Happy Birthday, Rowan Atkinson! :)

  • "You can't see something thats already happened"

    christ she sounds WASTES!!! :L:L

  • 00:53 hilarious

  • The Blackadder theme sounds SO awesome when it's orchestrated. :-D

  • Mr. Bean, funny

  • Baldrick Dodgy Catering Co.

Got me laughing five seconds into the clip, that's quality!

  • I am from Bosnia and Herzegovina and this last "episode" rocks, Black Adder finally became someone :D... Greetings from Bosnia and Herzegovina to GB :)))))

  • Atkinson looks like a TOS Klingon xD

  • who else shed a tear when they heard the begining theme the first time watching this?

    thumbs up if u did!

  • Whers the crowd laughing? not nearly as fun without it :(

  • i feel just abit sad that theres no one laughing along with me

  • whens baldrick gona right back to his mum :L

  • 1 german disliked this

  • @hell191919 Well it certainly wasn't me, I love Black Adder. So do my friends. And we're all german.

  • I commented this five minutes ago and ill do it again, Rowan Atkinson needs to make an appearance on House

  • @GabrielKnightz Why?

  • @GabrielKnightz Why? Nobody here in the U.S. would get the joke.

  • @lonstar70

You know we got Blackadder over here too, right?

  • @bluebettle On what? BBC America? 99% of people here would not get it. I've never seen it listed and I watch TV 12 hours a day.

  • @lonstar70

That's how you get people to watch Blackadder. Many a time has an in joke been a gateway drug to something better. I was lured into watching it because of the Mr. Bean movies. Even though they weren't as good as the original show, now I at least know what "good" is. :)

  • @GabrielKnightz that would be grand.

  • @GabrielKnightz house Roadhouse

  • @GabrielKnightz YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES !!!!

  • @GabrielKnightz Stephen Fry too~! :D

  • First time i've seen this since i was at the Dome. No idea what possessed me to watch it again, brilliant stuff.

    Cheers for uploading!

  • Thank God,Blackadder finnaly got what he always wanted:)

  • I remember this being the first Blackadder I ever saw, at the Millenium dome in 1999. My parents convinced me to see it, by telling me that the guy who's in it is Mr Bean.

  • @CrimsonElite101 Same!!! (Though without the Mr Bean bit)

We then went home and watched every episode which my dad had lovingly recorded on VHS from start to finish!

  • @CrimsonElite101 i saw this at the dome but back then i didnt think much of it. love the series now!

  • I've heard some rubbish in my time, infact, every time I open my mouth

  • My God Queenie would get it.

  • Funny to see all those characters in the era that we live in now and how they are still exactly the same: what a great cast and brilliant writing.

I read that the Blackadder team intends to reunite for a special set in the 60's or 70's. That would be great: is there perhaps anyone who knows more about this?

  • ACK, 1 minute in and i miss the audience laugh!

  • Wasn't really necessary to see Baldrick's arse. I hate it when writers do stupid things like that, taking something funny and pushing the envelope too far, into the realms of uncomfortable embarrassment and bad taste.

  • @puppi3000

    got gay issues

  • @thegoodjohn No, If it was a woman's arse, it would still be in bad taste. Does that answer your PC-loaded asinine question? I'm just saying it's simply not funny.

  • 'My cook got invited to an orgy at Deliah Smith's house.' lmao!

'Well, glaze my nipples and call me Rita!!!' Hahahaha

  • 'My cook got invited to an orgy at Deliah Smith's house.' lmao!

  • LOLz, we watched this in History class the other day when we were looking at time travel.

    We're a class of Year 7s (11 and 12 year olds).

Everyone was laughing their asses off.

  • nice description... seems original

  • re file eisai theoulis pou anevases black adder!******

  • Funny series :')

  • No laughter trac. What were the BBC thinking?

  • @puppi3000 : it is that you mention it, but I did not really notice or miss it. I do not think laughter tracks in general have any added value anyway: most of the time they are very distracting and I can decide for myself whether I find something/somebody funny or not.

  • at 5:47 is you look in the background you can see a guy in a red coat lifting the door behind him.. lol :P

  • Hahah at 2:44 you can see Stephen Fry looking at his arse LOL.

  • Whats the song from 1:21 till 1:36
