Let me explain to those who just don't get it. The Spaghetti Monster was Bertrand Russell's idea; which was mentioned in the God Delusion by Richard Dawkins. The pretend religion is actually a satirical criticism of Christianity,the point being that it's just as ridiculous as Christianity. It also humorously criticizes creationists who want non-scientific religion taught in science lessons. You can't take it literally. These angry responses just make creationist views seem even more ridiculous.
