Well light and dark are so relative to one's perspective. It is christianity that successfully made itself a world religion by conquering oppressing and assimilating others not very christ-like if you ask me. The only thing that can make any song evil is it's lyrics. The only similarity these "Unblack" bands have with their "Black" metal counterparts is that the music style they play may sound similar. Lyrically they couldn't be more opposite. I think it's healthy for the Christian metal fan to have alternatives. Some of the Unblack bands are actually pretty good IMO.

Well light and dark are so relative to one's perspective. It is christianity that successfully made itself a world religion by conquering oppressing and assimilating others not very christ-like if you ask me. Thus i don't see Black Metal as dark or evil it simply uses what christianity deems evil to fight against it. I see what I do as truly the light!

The only thing that can make any song evil is it's lyrics. The only similarity these "Unblack" bands have with their "Black" metal counterparts is that the music style they play may sound similar. Lyrically they couldn't be more opposite. I think it's healthy for the Christian metal fan to have alternatives. Some of the Unblack bands are actually pretty good IMO.

We are called to fight sin and evil, not people who are sinful and evil. Jayson Sherlock simply wanted to personify evil as a tangible object that one could attack and fight. What he really is calling for is to move closer to God and resist evil.

there is very little about christianity that is original. Most of the celebrations and things done during those celebrations today are simply perversion and christianization of old pagan rituals and holidays. This to proves that Christianity is perhaps the most unoriginal religion out there. I'm sorry christians but Black Metal is something you just cannot have! you should get used to it perhaps even try and do something unique for once.
