This is GREAT STUFF!!! What with this one and your "In the Middle of the Ocean/Lullaby of the Sea" you've got two songs for a concept album that would be a favorite of mine if it went on like these two songs. I'm a big fan of concept albums like "666" by Aphrodite's Child, "Ulysses - The Greek Suite" with Ted Neely and so many I better not try to list! This is like finding an album in a thrift store you never heard of and it becomes a classic to the buyer that they can't do without!
Excellent! Great lyrics, music, vocals and performance. It has something haunting to it! In some way reminds me of the doors, but goes beyond that. *****
Ooh, hey this is a really cool arrangement of a very interesting melody. I very much like the way your drums kicked in before the forty second mark. Kind of like Robert de Visée (ca. 1650 1725) meets King Crimson if you don't mind me saying :-}
Hey, Karl...long time, no see. What a wonderful piece of music you've created....just excellent! I love your lyrics too....you give lots of food for thought in them. And thanks for the sub....I subbed you a while back. Gonna have to come visit you more.....your channel has always been great. :)
Sounds better. But only marginally to my ears because I was blown away by the quality of the production on the first one anyway. But then I'm no technical guru :-)
Yes, I hear the improvement, Karl. It is a great song. I particularly like the organ in this. It harkens back to those great progressive bands from the 70s. Great. -Ron
@rhopen One of the things i did was increase the kbps to 384 on the mpeg-4. It's hard to tell but I think YT accepted that, perhaps because it has such a low frame rate with only one image. But to my ear, there are less compression artifacts than before. Thanks for the kind words.
Wow you are so talented writing your own songs and great vocals to xx
