  • Thanks everyone for the suggestions I have received. It turns out that when I originally reinstalled the chamshafts and changed the timing chain that I had accidentally switched the camshafts so that the timing was off. Since then I have put everything back together the right way and it is working fine now.

  • sticking and worn piston rings or leaky valve

  • if you have a rough idle. you might not have the right spark plugs

  • Gary,my Z24 does the same thing.Did you ever get this fixed and if so what was it ?

  • What is your car and how many miles is on the engine?
