  • Nice video :)

Is the screen placed on top of the shirt or is there a little space between you shirt and the screen when laid down (off contact)?

  • @AlphaSphere Yes, I just taped a piece of cardboard to create the 1/8" off contact.

  • @AwesomeArtistLLC lol sorry i found the answer in part 6.. i was trying to figure out if it was possible to set off contact and maintain the micro registration since its mounted directly on the screen.. i see now that there's plenty of room on the side of the micros to still be able to register and also space the screen..thanks

  • not a bad set up for start up..its actually pretty sweet that u added micro registration to it too..just a quick question though, how can u use this to set off contact on prints

  • @wobneedsason I have not done simple prints, just t-shirts. I think that's what you're asking. So I could not give you an answer to that question. If that's not what you're asking, please clarify for me. Thanks!

  • I run a t-shirt business and just as a tip; It looks like you're pressing WAY to hard when you're laying the ink. That's why your image is faded on your first pass. If you push too hard you're scraping the ink off. Also you're holding the squeeze at 90 degrees, hold at 80-75degrees. Just trying to help. But your designs look awesome. I started my t-shirt business 1 year ago and you remind me of when I started. Keep up the good work and designs!!!! Cheers.

  • @BuildAndPublish Thanks for the tip. I appreciate it. When I didn't press hard enough, the ink didn't show through the shirt. I try to do a 80 degree angle on my squeegee. It's all about practice, practice, practice. Again thanks!

  • enjoy all your video........thanks for all the info. what kind of inks are you using?

  • @kdavid62 Thank you! I appreciate it. Union Ink is what I use.

  • charlie, do u recommend curing after each color? otherwise wouldnt the ink go onto the next color/screen in the design?

  • @st3ptikal You can do that. It is called "wet on wet." My video "4 color tshirt test shirt" is a wet on wet print. Just got to make sure the print side of your screen has two coats of emulsion to do the "wet on wet" printing.

  • was that white container from ryonet silkscreeningsupplies?

  • @ferndog681 Yes it was.
