Roy is far too overpowered compared to the rest of the roster.

That and he was a clone of Marth was the reason why he didn't appear in Brawl but now Brawl doesn't have a middleweight Fire Emblem character which was Roy only the lightweight Marth and the Heavyweight Ike.

I guess they are using Link (not Toon) as the missing middleweight swordsman.

IIRC, then roys counter is not set damage. its 1.5 then original attacks power. and since warlock punch does 30 damage and has a crazy amount of knockback, he does 1.5x the damage (45 damage) and 1.5x the knockback (dats a lot)

well, Marth's counter lasts longer than Roy's does. You have to have decent timing to use Roy's, but it's not that hard after a while.

Roy's Counter Does 1.5 damage and send away that the move he countered does. and Since Ganons Ganon Punch is one of the most owerful moves 2+2=4.

Ganondorf was using his big punch thingy, forgot wat its called, and roy used his counter attack, so when ganondorfs punch hit, cos its such a powerfull attack, when roys blade swiped, it sent all of em flying

SSBM doesn't have a difficulty setting for the Event Matches. Each Event is different, with unique goals to reach in order to complete the Event. They typically get harder as you get to the higher levels. This happens to be the final one, and it is very hard if you don't know what you're doing.
