This song reminds me of the Last Exit in Seattle, Washington. (The place is now sold and no longer has the culture it once had from what I understand, and I don't live in Washington anymore so I've lost track of the place)There was some strange cats there!
@AddictedToTheGreen ... yeah ... unhuh ... i love the disco beat around 5:45 so out of control what a band man and weir shows such a command of dynamics, such poetic emotion when he shouts the words... what panache and so understated ... but then looking back on those days now one can truly say they were famous ... long ago and now they're gratefully deader then dead ...
this was the first show for me i didnt get in but you could hear great in the lot(only a few feet from the back. I got in the next day for my first of about 40 shows!!

This is how you cover a song with your own twist without butchering the original. Dylan and the Dead are both amazing.

Oh my goodness, the Last Exist has been gone for years and years. And I miss it so much and I am old now....

This cover is good, the My Chemical Romance cover is terrible. In my opinion.

My first show. Hooked me on the spot. So many great memories, despite the mass genocide of brain cells!

gnarly, love both dylan and the dead (who collaborated to put out a great album in like the 80's or something)
