@SNOOKIBUNNII17 They are five little dancers from Orange County, California. This video was from 2-3 years ago. They are now 10 or so. Since then, the girls have done very well in dance competitions and some of them have appeared in print media, TV commercials, TV shows, special live events, etc. At least two of them will be appearing in musical theater productions during the Christmas season.

i really liked this video they worked really hard i can tell its hard to do that kind of stuff and remember all the moves just they show a little to much skin for 10 year olds or nine year olds but i enjoyd the video i loved it -JACINDA
You could see the difference between this one and the other. I liked the other one just for the reason they added to it, and they were more in sync. I wonder if they had just learned it when they performed here. It was very good, glad they worked on their execution for the second performance.
@mindyschocolate The way I heard the story, they entered this contest at a local high school just to get some performance experience. Most of the other teams were cheer or pom squads, so they got some funny looks backstage. They didn't expect to win it, but that's how it ended up.
the second was better in my opinion for the simple fact the beginning part when autumn does the bend over thing was alot better cuz she went for it all the way and i like the dip at the end too and thank god the hip grinding thing at the end didn't change much and the costumes were the same

love them!!! but I did notice this dance has been changed from the original! the dip at the end when they hold each others shoulders,in the WOD video they go down to the grown and this one they just dip! a few moves have been taken out and that is why the video seems slower! also the little one that takes center in the end KILLS IT!!!!! there all amazing and we should let them dance their little hearts out and not put our BS politics on them!!! there KIDS! let them be KIDS!

@bakcyn Not sure what you mean. The original video footage ended abruptly, so I spliced on a little piece of the Pomona performance at the end and that is in slow motion, but the whole dance is normal speed.
First of all these girls are great! And you should know,thaht as a dancer and it doesn't matter if your 4 or 24,you need presence you need that shine on your face that shows people how much you love it! and in competicion thaht's even more important and costumes are a big part of evaluation in the competition!! dancers are also acters...btw in america there are so many cempetitions where 4y girls are dressing up and have a fake tan and fake lashes and make up how but that??
they can dance, yes. but they lack the fine-tuning that a great performance has. they're off of each other, each one shining separately instead of flowing between independence and the group. they use the same tricks in their different performances, too. the choreography is definitely too mature for them. it seems that the performance is more focused on the production than the talent.

@psk75999 The Santa Ana performance in March was not widely viewed prior to the World of Dance event in Pomona in April. This video only surfaced AFTER the latter performance made them famous, hence the posting date inversion.
what a load of tosh, these girls were in a competition, i seen worse clothes on america's got talent, get over yourselves. They love dancing, they love competing, stop putting your own adult views on them. Most people watched it once and thought wow they are great then rewatched it 2-3 times then started to think about the ohter worries. If you watch something alot of times you will always loose the reason you thought it was good and pick out whats wrong with it.

i know all about competitive dancing, ive been in it for 5 years, I'm 17, and not once was this in a routine! this is provocative and done with no taste. real competitive dance inst about shaking your ass! but about moving beautifuly to music, with some sort of flow to it.
@xzpiratexz You are talking about ballet or ballroom dancing. Modern dance, hip hop, etc. are quite different and should not be judged by the same criteria as the previous types of dancing. Distinguish, otherwise you are outside your league, just as you cannot judge Jazz by the criteria of Classical Music..

Mather might be considered more prestigious, more exclusive, and they do a good job with public relations and with transitioning dancers to professional status. The Mather studios may well be closer to where they live. And Autumn's mom works there. That should be enough reason. Nothing wrong with Dance Precisions. They still produce stand-out performances.

People who critize these girls are odviously Not part of the dance world. Their oufit are much less revealing then some of the shit i see else where on 7year olds! These girls are amazing! Each and everyone of them inspire me to be a better dancer. No matter where you dance the outfits have to show something so the judges can judge them! I may only be thirteen but i'm old enough to know what is suggestive in dance and what isn't. And this certainly is far from being suggestive.
yeah but they're dancing too.. inappropriately... in those outfits. keep in mind: DANCING- with those 'dance moves'.. not SWIMMING. there's a difference. they're 7, they know enough to see what 'sexy' is. and let me tell you- a 7 year old should NOT be dancing in those suggestive outfits.
Are there three videoed occasions for this dance rather than two? The notorious one has the big "World of Dance" logo behind it, and then there's this earlier one at Santa Ana, but some of the fan videos have what looks to me like a third version with a "Battle of the Stars" logo behind it.
@newhandles I am only aware of two performances of Single Ladies that are fully documented on video. I have seen the same short glimpse of the Battle of the Stars video in various compilations but never any more than that one little bit.

YouTube seems to be the only place on the Internet where anyone is willing to treat these young performers with respect as opposed to the hysteria and hypocrisy of a year ago. They are fantastic dancers, but they don't need lingerie, mature song or choreography to display that. As a dance teacher, the first responsibility is to present students in an age-appropriate manner, which is best for them. 7yr old kids dancing suggestively to an adult song, in adult-like lingerie is ridiculous. I don't approve of revealing swimsuits for kids either. There are sickos out there who enjoy this kind of thing, and then responsible dance teachers like myself who disagree with it.
The thing is that its all about the dance attitude, && i honestly dont think its going to affect their everyday behavior. Kind of like the ballerina thats a klutz off stage sort of thing. But they r way 2 cute!!!

what a load of tosh, these girls were in a competition, i seen worse clothes on america's got talent, get over yourselves. They love dancing, they love competing, stop putting your own adult views on them. Most people watched it once and thought wow they are great then rewatched it 2-3 times then started to think about the ohter worries. If you watch something alot of times you will always loose the reason you thought it was good and pick out whats wrong with it.

ldon't understand why people make such a big deal about their costumes. For a start, picture a swimsuit, a bikini. That is much less revealing than bikinis some seven year olds wear! I don't think that their clothing is a huge issue. I mean, sure, it's a little small, but they're seven and it's not like they care! To them it's just a stomach. And I bet their crazed moms saw these and were like "oh, theyll be so cute!"

@jdenicut3 Dance Precisions has only one location in Placentia, California. But this is typical. I'm not aware of a single dance studio franchise opportunity. It's not like KinderCare or KFC. Not yet.

It makes me mad that everyone is mean to them, you see these kinds of costumes all the time at dance competitions, my dance studio doesn't buy these kinds of costumes, but it's up to the dance teachers, not them!
I think you guys are really, really, really good, and my favorite one is the young lady who is only in the front for a little, but kicks but when she is, all I can say is WOW to you, I wish I was as good!!

i know all about competitive dancing, ive been in it for 5 years, I'm 17, and not once was this in a routine! this is provocative and done with no taste. real competitive dance inst about shaking your ass! but about moving beautifuly to music, with some sort of flow to it.

@xzpiratexz You are talking about ballet or ballroom dancing. Modern dance, hip hop, etc. are quite different and should not be judged by the same criteria as the previous types of dancing. Distinguish, otherwise you are outside your league, just as you cannot judge Jazz by the criteria of Classical Music..

@Damnlass There may be a couple of good reasons. Mather might be considered more prestigious, more exclusive, and they do a good job with public relations and with transitioning dancers to professional status. The Mather studios may well be closer to where they live. And Autumn's mom works there. That should be enough reason. Nothing wrong with Dance Precisions. They still produce stand-out performances.

People who critize these girls are odviously Not part of the dance world. Their oufit are much less revealing then some of the shit i see else where on 7year olds! These girls are amazing! Each and everyone of them inspire me to be a better dancer. No matter where you dance the outfits have to show something so the judges can judge them! I may only be thirteen but i'm old enough to know what is suggestive in dance and what isn't. And this certainly is far from being suggestive.

Are there three videoed occasions for this dance rather than two? The notorious one has the big "World of Dance" logo behind it, and then there's this earlier one at Santa Ana, but some of the fan videos have what looks to me like a third version with a "Battle of the Stars" logo behind it.

@newhandles I am only aware of two performances of Single Ladies that are fully documented on video. I have seen the same short glimpse of the Battle of the Stars video in various compilations but never any more than that one little bit.

@newhandles A good example of a fan video with the Battle of the Stars clip can be found 20 seconds into "Single Ladies...5 Different Perspectives" on my good friend's channel at starmagichailey. There is also footage of the WoD taken by a fan on the main floor and other footage taken by one of the dancer's parents. Don't miss the Battle of the Stars awards presentation at the end of the video.

YouTube seems to be the only place on the Internet where anyone is willing to treat these young performers with respect as opposed to the hysteria and hypocrisy of a year ago. Poor Autumn Miller looks terrified in that news clip, caught in the glare of international 'adult' disapproval.

They are fantastic dancers, but they don't need lingerie, mature song or choreography to display that. As a dance teacher, the first responsibility is to present students in an age-appropriate manner, which is best for them. 7yr old kids dancing suggestively to an adult song, in adult-like lingerie is ridiculous. I don't approve of revealing swimsuits for kids either. There are sickos out there who enjoy this kind of thing, and then responsible dance teachers like myself who disagree with it.

@SmartySmara yes to THEM it's just a stomach......but those outfits coupled with the provocative dance moves placed on youtube. might as well serve them up on a silver platter to guys who don't view it as innocently as the girls do. They are talented but they also need to be restricted to age appropriate dances to protect them.
