I was so happy when this came out. It had such a positive vibe, and the SOUND of it was just light years ahead of almost everything. It was a landmark in production, in my opinion. There's some dude here saying this is the only good track, which is a very strange comment indeed. The whole album was a powerhouse, although, to be honest, I felt like Coverdale took one awesome track and brought it down with his lyrics on "Boys are Feelin' Hot." Whatever. 2 big names in the rock pantheon......ego was bound to set in eventually, as were the obvious comparisons to the Led Zeppelin legacy and Robert Plant. At the time, thhis ws the best material either David or Jimmy had put out in some time....some of the orchestration was a bit much, but still good music. Perhaps they'll do something again in the future, who knows.
