Smart Moving Installation - ModLoader

at 3:12 you say you copy these "three files", but when I open it (updated 1.2.3) I have 4 files; three are folders, 1 is just a file. I'm not counting the "..." file folder. The three folders are gui, lang, and net. Do I want all of them?

Either way, depending on your situation could be limitations on your user account or your simply making mistakes.

@gamezonic It doesn't really matter, however if you plan to use it on Multiplayer, you will need to install Smart Moving for ModloaderMP.

@bballdaniel3 Only install ONE copy of Smart Moving, when your using both Modloader & ModLoaderMP just choose one, however if you plan on going on a Smart Moving server, you will need Smart Moving for ModloaderMP. However if you are NOT going onto a server, Smart Moving for Modloader will suffice.

Thanks bro! This is cool, First installation guide that works. It's easy though. Download ModLoaderMP ModLoader and Player API. And of course, Smart movement, Open up smart movement and go to Smart Movement for ModLoader and drag it all into the Minecraft.jar and same for modloaderMP, player API, and ModLoader

@CobaltFIr3 Do me a favor... unpack the mods a little, take the install packages out of the initial .zip file. (When you have compressed files, inside of compressed files, you get errors for trying to move it.)

@daymond12345 Double check all the downloads. Most commonly its ModLoader that is not up to date because the default file name doesn't specify the version number so everyone just thinks it's up to date.

@ShadowWolfyxxx If you look on the Smart Moving forums there is actually a fix for SMP Commands. As for World Edit, I'm pretty sure that's compatible.

@HolyCowSoup UNPACK THE MOD. You can't just reach into and grab a double compressed file. It s a .zip in a .zip Take out the packages. THEN you can install... You can see I've done that. I took all the packages and placed them inside of a folder.

ModLoader crashes my Minecraft aber the Mojang-Symbol. If I just install ModLoader ist is the same, so the mod or PlayerAPI (probably, didn't try it out) do not cause problems at all.

Should be a 1.1-bug or ModLoader-bug.

@xMaGiK0478 I'm pretty sure the table of contents is just to choose a way to install the mod. If you just do the steps in this video, then it should work. (Unless you want it for multiplayer, then you have to do this and another video.)

@df5058 that's just a folder he made for himself for him to puts all his mods in, so that its easier to find later on. Normally, when you download a mod it goes to your downloads folder.

Help! It doesnt work! (just in case it matters, im on windows XP) i did exactly what you said up to the point of putting the 3 smart moving files into the jar... because i didnt have 3, i had 5! i had 2 files without extension (these were all files: GUI (folder), net (folder), mod_smartmoving.class , net (no extension? not the folder) and GUI (no extension? not the folder) and i just grabbed the 3 u did but still get blackscreened? can anyone hlep me out or do i HAVE to have windows 7?
