  • @yamijanakaratoprak The song speaks for itself my friend. If I am not mistaken, he practices along the lines of Eastern tradition-Buddhism, Tantric meditations, etc....While some may say these are 'religions', they are closer to psychological techniques. While everyone interprets through his own prism, I find it humorous that a song titled, "When the angels fall', could be interpreted to be pro-religion. To each his own....

  • A more beautiful metaphor against religion could not be written. You can hear the passion in the choice of his words.... I have always thought him to be the best , if not one of the best, songwriters I have ever heard.

  • @jrswhite7751 Unfortunately for you, while interpretation is free, Sting himself is highly religious.

  • @jrswhite7751 I concur...

  • Manu Katché recorded during the studio session, while Vinnie Colaiuta was on tour woth Sting since then and again until today

  • The Wondefull song! One of my favorite!

  • it's like sting's version of a lullabye- at the end he says goodnight

  • Are you sure it was Vinnie?

I remember reading the credits when the album came out.. Listed Katche as drummer.

I could be wrong. Stunning nonetheless!
