  • Was sure I heard a dog bark at 4:23. . .

  • "care for a round of golf, professor?"

That moment when we must chose between the solitary and the social.

Always the most difficult. Miller was right to highlight it in this M.R James story...

    wonderful.

  • Why would you pick up some old, filthy piece of crap from a cemetery?

"Finders keepers", like he just found gold LOL

  • @bretwalda100 In the original story one of his fellow scholars asks him to survey the Papist burial site. I would recommend reading or downloading the audio book it's slightly different to this and quite chilling! :)

  • Michael Horden. Amazing actor. Brilliant performance and such depth brought to the character

  • 'Finders Keepers..." Nooooooo!

  • I read M:R:J:'s stories: very good writer!

  • Where was this filmed? That massive expanse of beach and flat land is amazing.

  • @MrsNorris55 from wikipedia : The adaptation was filmed on the Norfolk coast, near Waxham.

  • @50centgotshot9times Thanks. Someday when I go back to England I have to go check that out. :-)

... Preferably not with any kind of whistle, of course ...

    o_O

  • @MrsNorris55 it still remains, little has changed, scene 3:14 in the video, the grave is of a 'Jacob Forster departed this life March 12th 1796 aged 38'...this I know. I was there this very week. Looks great in moonlight. Put 52.27537833,1.63171500 into Google maps and it will take you there. Mind the cliff edge.

  • Never take anything from a grave!
