NOT TRUE, she brought the house down in Cadillac Records! Her acting was Oscar worthy to be honest. In all the rest of the movies, she was okay. Give her some due. It is normal for most actors to be a so-so actor then then hit it big. Frank Sinatra hit bottom and no one wanted him even though he was a rising star. When he played in "From Here to Eternity," all those years of bad luck changed.
