@Henro95 Well now for me I got it working a couple hours after I wrote that comment. I just didn't hold the button long enough. Before I scanned it I held the power button until it turned flashing blue and red then it connected. Not sure if this is the same for you though.

you have to go under system, scroll down to accessories, click it, the scroll up/down to mange bluetooth devices,click it, once that is done it will prompt you "a bluetooth device hasn't been registered would you like to regiseter it now?", click yes, and you will come to the screen with an option saying start scaning, click it and the ps3 will search for the device
