Asa is very good guy, when he visited in Mongolia in summer 2007, I met with him right before he went to football match which made him suspended, I was working as a reception in one tourist camp. He seems very aggressive on the TV but in a real life he was just like a innocent little boy

I am a fan of Asa. Smart video given that there are not any website which shows recent sumo wrestling events as Banzuke is no longer updating itself. Thanks for posting this.

Some days I can't get home from school in time to see that day's matches. So I have to watch the highlights on the news.

I don't know where you can get them live/same day, but my link in the description box for the site called banzuke usually updates the current tournament within a day or so.

I recently watch a documentory on Asashoryu on HGC HD channel. It had his last big fight before he was suspended. I saw another documentory on that Bulgarian sumo wrestler(i forget his name). Very interesting how much effort goes into such short matches.

Yeah - I saw a clip from the Natl Geo doc here on YouTube - I really want to see the whole thing! Kotooshu is the Bulgarian - he started strong but has been disappointing this past year.

what wuold be sumo without Asa, Hakuho and Ama? sumo need mongolians (there comes Kakuryu and more).

hahaha! you're unbelieveable man. I'm a huge sumo fan (and 朝青龍 fan too) but I don't know personally other people who like sumo, and I can't watch sumo bashos with my buddies like watching Super Bowl and similar stuff. All bashos I'm alone watching NHK (no english languaje signal), and my reactions are like yours "come on come on! ohh nooo!!" hahaha.

It's nice to hear someone at the time of the bout and reactions, not just when they watch my vid records or my comments (and they're not sumo fans)

in middle school kids used to call me yokozuna after the US WWF wrestler as a derogatory notion since i was fat and half asian, now it doesnt hurt as bad knowing that yokozuna is a prestigeous title =). great vid, you should appear in your vids more often.
