I thought Marie represented herself well. I think a lot of final rounds at this level aren't about who's better, but more about how the rounds themselves go. It definitely looked like GreenTeck knew the first song and he got the easy predictable part of the 2nd and 3rd songs. Marie on the other hand had to figure out the first song, got the 2nd song when it was goin from hook to verse and the 3rd song on the break. Luck plays a big role in battles. But greenteck did earn the win. props to both

@KelaBeats yea man, and there's a huge difference between hitting the 2 and 4 snares and then the basses vs someone else of equal level who knows every part of the song. Admittingly she did go 2nd so she could've figured out the song, but again she got the 2nd and 3rd song when they changed their predictive patterns. So yea, I'd say someone who can hit the syncopated guitars and bass guitars in the back has a huge advantage over someone hitting simple snares and basses

@alvinito Ahh I get what you mean.. Yeah going second is a huge advantage, especially if you don't know the song. It sucks going first and not knowing it but it seems like a good popper can pick up the drum line or the simple patterns pretty fast. And most popping songs are pretty similar, but those songs weren't that "usual" so I'm sure it was a lot harder, and yeah... he totally knew the songs, or is an amazing guesser lol.
