I guess I never had to feel it to completly understand, but there are those asking to see God and claim he is fake because they don't see him. The thing is it is everywhere. Look at the planet for example and its placement. It's perfect, and look at our ability to feel unlike anyother animal. One thing I think brings down the fact that we came from apes is if something changes to deal with the world around it does the remaining not die off. I that is the case why are there apes now?
The problem with letting everyone live with their own beliefs is that the bible says whoever doesn't accept Jesus for the forgiveness of their sin(lying, stealing, blasphemy, adultery, pride, hateful anger, ect.) will go to hell. The bible in summary is this. we have all sinned and became enemies of God, God through his grace and mercy, sent Jesus his perfect son to die and take the deserved punishment for our sin. through Jesus, his righteousness covers our unrighteousness on judgment day.
You may or may not believe in god personally i dont but i certainly dont persecute people for what they believe in and if u do thats just plainly wrong listen but dont complain speak but dont complain everyone has their beliefs let them live with it in peace

I can understand why you think religion is used now to control people because with some, that is sadly the result but not what is intended. The absolute key to religion is, like was said, a personal realationship with God and spending time with him everyday. Once you have that everything else will fall into place. It's going to seem hard, but how it gets easy is having Jesus to take care of everything.

@temp50, i can't show you where God is. but this is what the bible says about the universe. psalm 19: 1-4 says "The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they display knowledge. There is no speech or language where their voice is not heard." question, can a painting come without a painter? or a book without an author? a building without a builder? no. then why would the world not come from a Creator?

unfortunately you guys have gotten the short end of the stick when it comes to religion. I can understand why you think religion is used now to control people because with some, that is sadly the result but not what is intended. The absolute key to religion is, like was said, a personal realationship with God and spending time with him everyday. Once you have that everything else will fall into place. It's going to seem hard, but how it gets easy is having Jesus to take care of everything.

However I DO think that everyone NEEDS to believe in something as well, instead of JUST science. Could be a God, could be your own take on god. some surperior entity, anything that might be a an explaination. Because not believing in anything is just, empty i guess. why deny your own soul. personally, i think religion is completely internal. no right or wrong religion exists. religion is simply the moral path and laws you personally follow. you follow those for your life, and in death, you follow your belief of the afterlife. thinking you will go to hell simply cause your not christian is egocentric and completely wrong or we would have thousands of years of people in hell. truely christianity is pretty new religion wisel.

well I never believed that non christians went to hell..... regardless of what you believe in i was felt everyone was welcome in heaven. because isn't that the whole idea of it. to me hell is only a place for people like hilter and.... scientologists lol you know, people who quite clearly shouldn't be aloud into heaven for the obvious reasons. sake of mankind for example. lol

i never said you did, its simply accepted by many christians in higher places, like alot of priests have told me ill go to hell if i dont accept im christian. i was baptised when i was born, i never consented this therefore forcing it upon me. you cant force someone to do anything especialy follow a religion. this was the begging to my hate of all current religions. something exists theres no doubt, but it doesnt exist in any comprehensable form to human beings.

Those who wrote it from the want to, because God called them to. They didn't CHANGE it at all, want sum proof? Then how come in multiple books it will speak of the same event TELLING THE SAME THING about what happened. These guys wouldn't have changed it, Jesus had taught them better. Besides, if they had made it all up to suit them than how come they wouldn't shut up about it? When the high priests told them to stop talken about Jesus, they didn't. Evry disciple died for Jesus

No dude of coarse they wouldn't make huge changes... They make small ones that people wouldn't care about aslong as the main message is there. Down through time long after jesuses passing. Corrupt leaders would have definitely changed things too to suit themselves. Because they didn't care about jesuses message. They only pretended to because wanted the potential profit that they saw arise from the christian name. And body thinks the bibles words were untouched, for THAT MANY years are fools.

Don't get me wrong I believe in Jesus, I believe in God most certainly. But Im not blind to the fact that for over a 1000 or more years the writings in the bible were passed down through the hands of rulers, kings and emperors with a greedy eye for power. It would be stupid to believe that those words stayed exactly the same. All im sayin is that yes people should believe. But they should also be careful about what they believe. I mean but it this way. It wasn't religion that abolished slavery!
