@RobertKrischok believe me, it was full throtle. As I said, my engine had lost almost all of the compression, the car didn't have more than 70-80 BHP. The engine replacement solved the problem, and after that I sold the car.
@umforder The compression was really low in the engine. Mazda replaced it, then I sold the car and bought an Audi which is a 10 times better than a Mazda could be.
did you know if the service light comes on it stops you from wheelspinning, accelorating and red lining the motor, mazda reset the ECU when you take it in, my car did this once the service was 1000miles overdue,
Do you know a thing or 2 about rotaries? I was planning to buy an Rx-8 but there are too much problems with the engine...thats what they keep telling me in the service and I even read about it on the internet. In my country when something happens to this rotary they replace the whole engine (price is 13 grand with everything) Is it worth buying? Im not a millionare to afford loading up money in the Rx-8, I'd rather stay with my Supra if it has that many problems.
@XxNorcoRivalRiderxX There is more to a car than straight line ability. The 8 is a significantly better handling car and is more of a drivers car in feel. You can learn a lot more from driving an 8 than a supra. Don't get me wrong, they're both great platforms, but they each have their strengths and don't compete nearly as well in each other's category.
Ok, 1. bad coils, or plugs. 2. your CAT is starting to get plugged. 3. fuel pump is goin out. depending on mileage and what not its your oem coils b/c they are junk and spark plugs are probably bad. Ive had some of the same problems n the past
but when then is your catalytic converter fucked up

Lol I hope you're joking. Audi's are not known for their reliability. Overpriced junk.

@turboiifc Haha, my most reliable cars were Audis. My worst car was this shitty mazda.

@marcika Rotaries can outlast piston engines, it's been proven many times.
The downside is that you have to KNOW how to maintain them and use them.
Seriously the worst nightmares I've known come from VW/Audi....

Likely ignition coils or a blocked catalytic converter.

@marcika That could definitely cause the problem, but the techs likely checks for misfires and a blocked cat before even checking your compression.
Depending on the audi, I would definitely not go so far as to say 10 times better.

Oreg, nem ovlastad, hogy ez a motor haldoklott mar ekkor?

Hát ez nagy karcsú... 1.2-es corsa is megy így...

Motorcsere megoldotta a kerdest. Amikor ilyen volt, mar szinte nem is volt kompressziom. Azota mar megy ahogy kell.

why in the hell would you sell a supra for a rx-8 (if you did) then you got a few brain cells dead casue a supra could kick a rx-8s ass so bad
