What kind of bow are you using? I'm doing this method but I haven't upgraded my CLB yet. They say sticky CLB is the best to use, but I'm a mage and my dex is only around 16. Should I go with a Quality bow instead?
After you kill those black phantoms and you com back to nexus to come back again the world tendency is white, and than you have to kill yourself over and over again.
this method is a bit wrong and can take longer due to the fact that you to be at the right distance in order to get soul sucker to work. the best way and most EFFICIENT way i know is to just use the thief ring, you dont need grave robber ring , the thief ring will do just fine. sneak behind the first one and back stab him while your locked on, and run right after him after the animation is done and cast soul sucker, he will do a double twist and let you finish Soul Sucker.
@majahret after that you can sneak up to the second one much like in the video. once you do that effectively, the other gold BP skeleton will walk to where the other one was, all you need to do is just run away until your out of site, after that, he will turn around and you can sneak up while locked on and back stab him and rush to his body and cast soul sucker. doing this entire process will net you about 150,000 souls in about 3 mins per run.

@sjcboarder13 you get the maiden in black's soul which you can use to get soul sucker spell rom Yuria which allows you to instantly kill an enemy or ncp (besides bps and bosses) and steal souls from them, just like he was doing to the phantoms.
You are not doing this to its full effect. To get the most out of this run you should be wearing the ring of avarice at the very least. Ideally, you should have 40 intel so that you can "remember" both soulsucker and soul thirst. Cast soul thirst (which stacks with ring of avarice) before you soulsucker the black phantoms and you can get 2.75x more than what your getting now...(p.s. you can go back and soul suck the 3rd black phantom after he loses sight of you and returns to his spot).
storm king archstone is better i think. today i got over 1,000,000 souls in the space of a hour. all you need is the ring of avarice and the stormruler. if you hold the storm ruler in both hands you get a 25% increase in souls. this is my first playthrough aswell by the way. imagine how many souls i will get in the NG+. good video though lol

@vittoriotra26 and i can see that he has a amulet in the right hand which let him cast the Soulsucker spell. Yo have to have an amulet equipped to cast spells.

Farming is something that takes work and effort. Glitches get around that. It's more like stealing than farming cause you do a bit of work and get unlimited benefits.
How does that glitch even work? I've platinumed it so many months ago that it wasn't even important and the only info I could find on that glitch were in not english
@MakaiSenkiGames the glitch is you summon a black phantom player, and soul suck them. then they sign out of the psn or quit the game, and they only lose 1 soul level no matter how many times you soul sucked them. Since they didnt die or go back to there world, it didnt save that they lost so many levels. The player soul sucking still gets all the souls.
@MakaiSenkiGames The Soulsucking Glitch isn't really a glitch, but still called one. What you need is the following. A friend at the same level range as you. Both of you should have completed the game and killed the Black Maiden so you can get the Red Eye Stone. Then, one of you summons the other as a Black Phantom, while the host continuously uses Soulsucker to syphon souls. Then vice versa. Over and over until you are both maxed out. There are vids here that show it.
@MakaiSenkiGames I should make a correction, it is in fact a glitch. The method requires that you can't allow the game to autosave, otherwise you'll de-level massively.
@MakaiSenkiGames you place a red-eye stone and your friends summons you then he or you keeps soulsucking him you gt a very large amount of Souls and he dosen't die repeat advitam eternam... but that's cheap...
instead of soulsucking you can just do a sneak attack and then push him off the cliff with r1+fw. not good for farming stones but if you're only after the souls...
@masterberg also, you make more noise when your in life form, for this to work, you need to: a) be in soul form, b) use thiefs ring and c) walk, dont run :)
@masterberg wear light items/go naked and walk slowly and dont get too close to him, just close enough for the spell to reach. They hear you from far away if you run in heavy armor.
@masterberg depends on ur class if u are theif it will be more hard for them to detect u as u move lightly with low armour weight, n that make from the knight easier to detect
@MaestroKong I killed the flamelurker around lever 20 and i must admit that it was a hard fight, in fact the only reason i won was because a random bone trapped the boss and i arrowed his ass untill he died. So dont feel bad and who cares if you die alot
@MaestroKong This game took me about 75 hours to beat the first time, I grinded ALOT to be strong enough to beat most bosses. Second play-through is only about 20 hours or so and after that I dunno how long it takes. Don't EVER feel bad about being cheap in this game (I don't mean item duping cheap though) because this game is so hard you should do whatever you can to win.

Another equally good farming spot if not better is 3-3, just soul sucker both of the black phantoms on the spiral towers, NG+ it gives about 35,000 souls and only takes about 20 seconds
the less you die in ur body form not sould form, the better chance of getting white tendency. white tendency makes enemys weaker and levels slightly easier i think. and to get black tendency u can die alot, be a black phantom and kill other players. when you have black tendency the enemies are tougher
Thanks. I checked my stones in the options menu and the top halves are a tanish-grey, the bottoms are yellowish. All of them look the same. I guess im white but maybe slowly fading into black. Ill have to keep a eye on them.
no problem. im still not posotive what white looks like. because in boleria i had no light wat so ever yet i could still go into the special area to the left of the begging. so maybe theres a glitch idk
@Celly222 Dying in body form is -1 to world tendency killing a boss is +1 World tendency. Other things affect world tendency as well but details are details. White world tendency means enemies are easier but less loot... and blacker world tendency means harder enemies but more loot. as far as i can tell character tendency doesnt matter except when you talk to the monk dude in the nexus... if you r pure white he gives you a "friends ring"
Thanks for that, well i have alot to go yet, I raped the phalanx n tower knight, and It took ages for me too find enough empherial eyes to make black orl tenedency so i could rape miralda, but I did it, at soul level 28, I did it like a pro newb ran off, backstabbed rinse repeat, works fine, I need too upgrade the guillotine tho, but i have enough blandstone shpstones n w/e I might need, so i'm good.
This is really interesting for a soul farming method.
For my own soul farming, I was pretty much just a Mage, but anyways...
I'd go to 2-2 as Pure Black. Dash forward, kill the passing Manta, drop to Reaper, then kill a Phantom. Flame Toss the Reaper -> Thirst -> Finish Reaper -> Dash to hidden Passage and kill Black Skelly with Flame Toss x2 with Thirst still in effect.
This gives 50k~ Souls and would take literally about a minute.
Go to the Cliff and finish off those Skellies for about another 27k~ which took about another Minute (I'd never felt like Evac'in after the Black Skelly because I hated all the loading lol)
In anycase, I'm definitely gonna try this method out lol
With Soul Thirst, I'd wager you'd be getting around 132k in Souls.
It took you about 45secs or so to kill the three mobs and I know you could lower that, but Idk to the degree of killing all with just one Thirst. Maybe though; it'd be awesome!

Why dpn't you just jump down after you kill the second one and keep repeating, seeing as you can easily keep earning 60k without having to return to the nexus constantly, and you can easily get to your bloodstain, i think?
@grinreaper00 the easiest way is to go to the first tower and make sure you aim at it's head as it's coming down... hold R or L, whichever you use to shoot I forget, and as soon as you hear his first screech, release the button. Repeat until he's dead. You'll know you're hitting him if you see a red bar of health on him as he's swooping back up.
Alright, go to the very beginning of the bridge, where he first starts throwing a fit. Alright, you have to time this right, or else it won't touch him. Alrighty...I believe he screeches twice, so as you hear the end of the first one, cast Poison Cloud onto the bridge. The key is to stand as close as you can without getting hit, and cast it at the end of the first screech I think. Repeat and he should go down. xP
did you know that you can get souls alot faster and get like 1,000,000 of them by using thomas duplicate glitch.

You should wear the ring of avarice, it should give you more souls ... the first black phantom skeleton will already give about 60,000 souls :)
And if you try the soul thirst magic, and manage to kill the skeletons, within 30 seconds, it gives even more ...

if you push them off the cliff you will only get normal amount of souls from the kills.
soulsucker not only kills them instantly but also gives the player 100% more souls(twice as mush) per kill

so if he did this for about a hour he would get 1.200.000 souls ;)
(60min/3min=20; 20*60.000souls= 1.200.000souls)
And he didn't soulsuck the other skeleton so he could have gotten even more souls! He also didn't use ring of avarice and didn't use soulthirst.
So imagine how many souls he would have gotten ;)

I love this method. Used to shoot arrows at reaper in 4-2, then choped up mantas 4-4 now this is great beacuse at level 140 120k souls is 1 level.

@MaestroKong I killed the flamelurker around lever 20 and i must admit that it was a hard fight, in fact the only reason i won was because a random bone trapped the boss and i arrowed his ass untill he died. So dont feel bad and who cares if you die alot

@MaestroKong This game took me about 75 hours to beat the first time, I grinded ALOT to be strong enough to beat most bosses. Second play-through is only about 20 hours or so and after that I dunno how long it takes. Don't EVER feel bad about being cheap in this game (I don't mean item duping cheap though) because this game is so hard you should do whatever you can to win.

if you like pvp my method is sit in 4:2 at the fog and farm invaders, leave and die in the nexus every 3 oh and then just invade somebody after that, at lvl 91 I'm making around 150k souls every 20 minutes.

Another equally good farming spot if not better is 3-3, just soul sucker both of the black phantoms on the spiral towers, NG+ it gives about 35,000 souls and only takes about 20 seconds

@frizeo I dont think pure black is necessary, but it would help to have pure black for more souls and/or to get a pure bladestone.

the less you die in ur body form not sould form, the better chance of getting white tendency. white tendency makes enemys weaker and levels slightly easier i think. and to get black tendency u can die alot, be a black phantom and kill other players. when you have black tendency the enemies are tougher

Thanks. I checked my stones in the options menu and the top halves are a tanish-grey, the bottoms are yellowish. All of them look the same. I guess im white but maybe slowly fading into black. Ill have to keep a eye on them.

no problem. im still not posotive what white looks like. because in boleria i had no light wat so ever yet i could still go into the special area to the left of the begging. so maybe theres a glitch idk

@Celly222 Dying in body form is -1 to world tendency killing a boss is +1 World tendency. Other things affect world tendency as well but details are details. White world tendency means enemies are easier but less loot... and blacker world tendency means harder enemies but more loot. as far as i can tell character tendency doesnt matter except when you talk to the monk dude in the nexus... if you r pure white he gives you a "friends ring"

No prob.
Keys as in to open doors. You have to get them all again in order to access their related areas.
And the enemies are a shitload tougher; common mooks you were blowing through before can kill you in just a few hits.

Yeah, thankfully you do get more souls.
You can also use bosses' souls to get different spells/miracles/weapons than you did last time. Multiple runs allow you to get everything.
If you got the red eye stone by killing the MIB, you can start dueling other players.
Beyond that, no major differences.

Thanks for that, well i have alot to go yet, I raped the phalanx n tower knight, and It took ages for me too find enough empherial eyes to make black orl tenedency so i could rape miralda, but I did it, at soul level 28, I did it like a pro newb ran off, backstabbed rinse repeat, works fine, I need too upgrade the guillotine tho, but i have enough blandstone shpstones n w/e I might need, so i'm good.

you just have to get the maiden in black's soul...so basically you have to beat the game to get it, then save Yuria and she will teach it to you

This is really interesting for a soul farming method.
For my own soul farming, I was pretty much just a Mage, but anyways...
I'd go to 2-2 as Pure Black. Dash forward, kill the passing Manta, drop to Reaper, then kill a Phantom. Flame Toss the Reaper -> Thirst -> Finish Reaper -> Dash to hidden Passage and kill Black Skelly with Flame Toss x2 with Thirst still in effect.
This gives 50k~ Souls and would take literally about a minute.

Go to the Cliff and finish off those Skellies for about another 27k~ which took about another Minute (I'd never felt like Evac'in after the Black Skelly because I hated all the loading lol)
In anycase, I'm definitely gonna try this method out lol
With Soul Thirst, I'd wager you'd be getting around 132k in Souls.
It took you about 45secs or so to kill the three mobs and I know you could lower that, but Idk to the degree of killing all with just one Thirst. Maybe though; it'd be awesome!

Why dpn't you just jump down after you kill the second one and keep repeating, seeing as you can easily keep earning 60k without having to return to the nexus constantly, and you can easily get to your bloodstain, i think?

@grinreaper00 the easiest way is to go to the first tower and make sure you aim at it's head as it's coming down... hold R or L, whichever you use to shoot I forget, and as soon as you hear his first screech, release the button. Repeat until he's dead. You'll know you're hitting him if you see a red bar of health on him as he's swooping back up.

Deviatefish13, I've got an easy solution.
Poison Cloud. That's all you need.
Alright, go to the very beginning of the bridge, where he first starts throwing a fit. Alright, you have to time this right, or else it won't touch him. Alrighty...I believe he screeches twice, so as you hear the end of the first one, cast Poison Cloud onto the bridge. The key is to stand as close as you can without getting hit, and cast it at the end of the first screech I think. Repeat and he should go down. xP
