I have one word for your sorry excuse for an abridged series: FAIL!!!! I do have a suggestion though so you don't go through life being a complete loser. DESERT PUNK DOES NOT, HAS NOT,AND WILL NOT EVER NEED AN ABRIDGED SERIES!!!!!!!!!! The point of abridged series is to make a NON-funny anime fucking hillarious. Which you failed miserably at. So please, DEAR GOD PLEASE, NEVER MAKE AN ABRIDGED SERIES AGAIN FOR DESERT PUNK!!!! Stick to something like D.N. Angel or Chobitts or something like that.
@MegamanAbridged That may be true but what's the point if the jokes you are making are already being made in the actual anime. What I was saying is that Desert Punk's comedy style is similar to the style of comedy used in the abridged series. So why even bother?
@Chloroformal1229 well it was his choice to write it the way he wrote it. The point with abridging is to do it your own way, aside from following the standard take the plot and condense it into under 10 minutes with comedy rule, it's pretty much open to anything
well i guess first whats this show about? and second whats happening here? the first like 2 mins are guys running in place which messed with me a bit also but the voices are done well i would say :D
It's my first abridged attempt... When i get better i will redo it (again *sigh*).
The reason I decided to do this is cause
A. no one has done Desert Punk / Sunabozu as an abridged
B. I'm one of the only ones on my abridging team that doesn't have an abridge...
Also, the reasons this episode isn't as funny is that I didn't get my sound effects to work properly (so I took em out) and the script is MONTHS old and has way too many inside jokes. :P

Well I welcome all comments. When something as awesome as Desert Punk is Abridged, It has a high expectancy of greatness.
So I understand the anger.
So I will say this again.
At least I'm not doing FLCL Abridged.

Sorry, but im going to keep making DPTAS episodes.
And there have been funny shows that have been Abridged... Quite a few acctually.
But atleast im not abridging FLCL :)

meaning any abridged series is doomed to fail
where most abridged series get there humour is from picking at the serious nature of the show

I do agree, It is possible that it will be doomed... But my friend Nowacking has an abridged out of Bo-bobo and its quite successful so we shall see.
