Well the game have not so high requests. Not like Farcry 2, Crysis and CO. I can run it on a ATI EAH 4850 on highest settings,it runs perfect.

It is SO worth it, the game has an atmosphere ive never seen in any game before, and the feeling of walking through Pripyat and all the old buildings and that... Is worth it in its own right... And where bullets seem to do F*** all damage to people, usually its more fun to just pepper the shit out of them from like a mile away with an SA-80 or a HK 36 :D

Gamestop has it available for download or you can buy a hard copy, it's $19.99 either way, and the newer one (Clear Sky ~ the prequel to Shadow of Chernobyl) is only $9.99, yeah, the "newer" one is less expensive, go figure, if you're gonna get it get the hardcopy and patch it to 1.004 or 1.005 and then load the Oblivion Lost 2.2 mod, it makes it a lot more fun and improves the graphics and gameplay...

I can only thinkof going at night but there are a LOT of things in the zone that will hunt you at night do a LRVS (long range visual scan) of the area as best you can at night before going in and for goodness sake be carefull these ones are adapted to thenight they will spot you long before you spot them
