hello macross n robotech fans. carl macek, the man who created robotech, passed away on april 17th, 2010 many anime fans liked or hated him for robotech. but he exported classic anime like akira, the vampire hunters, and others. i believe that without robotech, we would not know about macross and hikaru and misa. the macross legacy will live on so other anime fans can enjoy this. R.I.P sir.

up until this year 2009 i never knew there was a movie or soundtrack wow im amazad at the effort the creators put into this movie and series good music , very notalgic song , yes minmay wasa likeable girl in the movie but as we all know she was just a proximity of infatuation to hikaru , plus in the movie hikaru made the move on misa , he comforted her when theyre on earth alone , she felt vulnerable so this dude cashed in , and plus reality as it is he never thought that minmay would love him

Loved it that Misa came right in and confronted them instead of running away like Minmay. A major difference between a woman and a girl. However have to admit that I found myself feeling sad for Minmay. She's so much more in DYRL than in the Robotech - american version.

i first watched the tv program some 24 yrs ago. and i still watch it over from time to time. really not easy to mix robots, fight, love ...together. jap do make some good things sometimes.

It was very hard to dislike Minmei in DYRL. She's a better character here than in the original series.

Whether it's Hikaru/Misa or Rick/Lisa I LOVE em lots! But in Macross:DYRL, Minmei was done really well, it made it harder for me to choose between her and Misa for Hikaru.

First off it sucks that youtubecom took out the english subtitled clips for this movie of the site. Second the Minmei here is actually better than the original. I was thought it would be fine if Hikaru got both Minmei and Misa

Hikaru and Misa made an interesting couple, though many often wondered what might've been if Minmay and Hikaru's feelings were in sync during both the tv series and the movie.

In the tv when Minmay wanted to stop Hikaru's feeling changed b/c they grew distant. In the movie Hikaru's feeling changed IMO b/c he never loved her to begin with, after all they were only separated after the fold for a short time. In any event, this is one of the classic anime love triangles ever created. Cheers!

Super Dimensional Fortress Macross Movie - LOL don't fall for the american title "Clash of the bionoids", it lacks violence, especially from the female power armors and in general.
