im looking to buy one of these, as i own a microkorg and im looking for some live capabilites, but im wanting to know where the best(cheapest) place to buy one(i live in the uk by the way).
All on the EMX-1, you don't need any other equipment or software; if you're trying to learn about them, I'd recommend looking at the manual on the korg website!
I picked up one of these last week for $480 in the US from Guitar Center.
I've been struggling with software for years and realize its potential but haven't been able to get much done. Within days of owning this MX-1 I've been able to produce more than I have in years with software. These things are great and I would totally recommend them for a beginner, but it does require a bit of understanding of synthesis to get a sound you're looking for, otherwise its trial and error.
Hey was just wondering, with the EMX-1 do you HAVE to use a laptop/computer to make music with a software or can you just make the music with the EMX-1 itself? Cheers
Nah not reverb you want BPM sync delay, for the sound mess around on Unison 6saw, on the synth filter change the type to BPF or LPF to get the higher frequencies in.
hopes that helpful, im still working on my synth parts got perfect drums though
the sounds wrong, but the notes and stuff are right! nice :)

Just so you know, you can't put your own samples onto this machine. But you can murder the built in sounds.

rastrepa 3 years ago

You don't need any software; I don't use any software, as far as I'm concerned, it's much easier to just use the EMX-1 itself!

on the festival one the drums are perfect but the electrosound is nt cute right but sounds good.
