  • not exactly like each version but sounds awsome, nothing wrong wiv a bit of variation

  • there's loadsa lil bits wrong with the live festival version but nice one anyway mate

  • Sick Tunes

  • Awesome!

  • nice :)

  • Yeah, it was slightly incorrect.

But it sounded freaking wicked :)

  • @edenmeden no there's different versions to the song

  • @Dpiiiius I know. I have all of them haha.

But i'm still sure that there was some slightly wrong notes.

But I can't be sure, I haven't listened to them in a while

  • some bits are wrong

    but over all its good

    keep it up

  • not that right but ok!!!

  • How did you get the drums that good???

  • i liked it bro where can i download the mp3?

  • apart from the real thing i think that as good as you can get like

  • lol y sum1 spam it

  • Again, pretty awesome :)

  • lol. i like the difference between the "versions".

  • hello all

im looking to buy one of these, as i own a microkorg and im looking for some live capabilites, but im wanting to know where the best(cheapest) place to buy one(i live in the uk by the way).

    Magic

  • ebay

  • A lot of ebay machines have defects or have been refurbished. go through a legit company.

  • ebay

  • Just so you know, you can't put your own samples onto this machine. But you can murder the built in sounds.

  • i think he duz it on a kp2,

    but niice man :D

  • where did you get those samples?

  • you cant sample with an emx, thats the eSx. emx is all sounds built in the machine.

  • @clashrocker7 what's sample?

  • Sampling is when you add your own sounds, samples, to the machine.

  • Dude.. Enter Shikari, daft punk, hadouken! etc

u got sikk taste in musick!

  • Were all the sounds MADE on the emx1 or are they made on other things ?

sorry im just trying to learn abit more about them :)

  • All on the EMX-1, you don't need any other equipment or software; if you're trying to learn about them, I'd recommend looking at the manual on the korg website!

  • is this also for beginners good

cuz im thinkin about to buy me one

but i never played on a syntheziser, so it is also good for beginners?

    this costs about 600 right?

  • Thanks for the reply dude i really appreciate it, ill look through the manual, this will definately teach me a thing or two :)

  • I picked up one of these last week for $480 in the US from Guitar Center.

I've been struggling with software for years and realize its potential but haven't been able to get much done. Within days of owning this MX-1 I've been able to produce more than I have in years with software. These things are great and I would totally recommend them for a beginner, but it does require a bit of understanding of synthesis to get a sound you're looking for, otherwise its trial and error.

  • okay

thank you you really helped me with my decision

    thnak you very much

    im gotta buy one :D:D

  • Check out the videos I've posted for an idea what I've been able to accomplish in just a few days of playing around.

  • if you buy on and ur in a band and ur gonna use it a live show is all you need an amp or other equipment??

  • A GUY IS SHOOTING A TUT ON THIS ITS PRETTY DECENT

    SYNAW on ELECTRIBE TUTORIAL PRT:1

  • You should think about getting the interlude correct before you try make different version

cause now theyre just all wrong

  • btw

the first pattern is actually off the zone

    x

  • Hey was just wondering, with the EMX-1 do you HAVE to use a laptop/computer to make music with a software or can you just make the music with the EMX-1 itself? Cheers

  • You don't need any software; I don't use any software, as far as I'm concerned, it's much easier to just use the EMX-1 itself!

  • on the festival one the drums are perfect but the electrosound is nt cute right but sounds good.

  • fire some reverb on your synth part man haha

  • Nah not reverb you want BPM sync delay, for the sound mess around on Unison 6saw, on the synth filter change the type to BPF or LPF to get the higher frequencies in.

hopes that helpful, im still working on my synth parts got perfect drums though

  • check out my version dude, mine goes into the acoustic drum section :]

  • good but the melody is wrong, and 2 little bits wrong with the drums

  • actually what was that think really2 wanna know, where can i buy it?

  • Various music shops sell them, or you're best bet is probably eBay!!!!:D:D

They're often a lot cheaper on there as well!

  • thats awesome.

  • SWEET!!

  • wickd man!could u post the notes for the synthline in the first clip thks

  • nice ummmmmmmmmmmm dan
