I like the endlessness of the sky, the colours, the clouds. Flying also gives you a sort of feeling of triumph and power doesnt it? I mean, youre sort of above all humans, cruising through the endless skies at high speeds in a high-tech, sophisticated piece of technology....makes me happy...

Im sorry to say, but I think that LH is far behind most of the airlines. EK and SIA make LH look like an eastern european company. LH is okay for regional. I live in stuutgart and use them within germany but I will NEVER use them to flow over seas again! This so called new business class looks like the business class SIA introduced about 10 years ago. You should look at the new SIA business class. Amazing!! But I love how the germans are very patriotic to thier LH...

EK may be good but the thing with them you can not afford to buy a Y class ticket. So what is soo good about that. I like LH becausse you can afford a ticket and they are great in all areas.

its true that Emirates or singapore airlines are more comfortable than LH....well the food in Emirates (Business Class is bullshit...sorry). But security wise LH is one of the best, then they have Lufthansa Technics, those who maintain the jets...ordered by the best companies in the world including Emirates.

UAE business class is better than LH's first. Also, most of airliners have better service and cabin staff.

The fact that Lufthansa eats all other companies, destroying flying economy and have a lot of money and anything else but 40 years old airplanes doesn't make it a good company.

EK is nice, but no one can afford them. Asian carriers have their own flair, but carriers like BA, LH, AA, UA are just my kind of thing: safe, nice and feasable.

i would tend to agree with most of the comments here. LH business product is the best from all the european carriers (let's not talk about the pathetic american). And also true, even if i'm lucky not to fly coach, that they don't care about coach at all. but in terms of ergonomics, the new business seat (designed by RECARO) is quite impressive. Small seat, but a lot of comfort.

Id rather save 2-3 grand on a ticket on economy than fly 1st class and buy a Rolex or a Breitling ;-} (for the sake of a 4-6 hour flight

Diese neue Bussines Klasse zeigt nur, dass sich nur noch um 2. und 1. Klasse gekümmert wird. die 3. Klasse ist Lufthansa vollkommen egal.

Das ist schon seit zu vielen Jahren überfällig. Es ist einfach nur peinlich, das jede kleine Fluggesellschaft allen Kunde an der Stelle eigene Bildschirme gönnt, wo bei Lufthansa nur eine Plastikausbuchtung ist.

Eine Plastikausbuchtung ist einfach nur eine mit Plastik verkleidete Aussparung für den Platz, den andere Gesellschaften nutzen um einen Monitor unterzubringen.

Air France hat doch die gestammte Bestuhlung samt Business Class hübsch überarbeitete. Ich finde die nicht wirklich peinlich.
