you go through the setup for DoW fire storm and install it to your dawn of war dark crusade folder and i mean install it there don't just copy and past it there

after that is done go into the dawn of war game and in the main menu there's the button labeled "mods" if you go into it and the game was installed correctly then the "firestorm over kronus" or what ever mod your trying to use will be listed there. now just click into that and your all set

this is Dawn of Warhammer: Firestorm Over Kronus

It is a mod that is (at least) for Dark Crusade (hence, Kronus), and IMO the space marine are ridiculously overpowered. I only play as them as my homebrew army or as Salamanders.

All the races are more fun and more like they are in the tabletop, with numerous options and weapons similar to actual 40k.

There is a newer version, though. It is called Dawn of Warhammer: Firestorm Over Kronus: Closer to Codex, the file being called RC1218.

New stuff;

Tau squads are no longer 6 ppl and one can take a real commander, not just a Shadowsun clone.

Space marines are bigger.

Armor values mean something. Lasgun-spam doesn't work on tanks anymore.

Lascannons, melta, and plasma cannons are available to all space marine squads. Heavy-weapon number restrictions from the codex apply.

Eldar have more of their units.

Chaos is wonderful and beautiful in every way.

Necrons are slightly more fair.

The tau railgun has a cooler animation.

look up "firestorm over kronus" on google. make sure u bring up file front foe the newest beta. its a huge 500mb file that overhauls the whole game to make it as close to the board game as possible. its amazing
