man i really wish this was a little better quality because I was on the field. If i remember I was one of the last ones off too... have a picture of me standing with the cops!
thats fuken kool, im so happy i got accepted to psu university park now i can actually expiriance a football game at beaver stadium, anybody know the price of a freshman ticket?
this was great! lol, i was on the field only i was event staff so i was allowed, i was near the goal post, and when i saw everyone runnin towards me i was like whats goin on. until i saw the riot patrol in a line. it was the first psu game i was ever at, and it was f#%@in awesome!! hahaha
Haha they chased you off the field. When CU Boulder beat West Virginia they took down the goal posts as quickly as possible and this huge group of police and swat team stood around it so it wouldn't get tramples as Lord of the Rings battle to the field took place. The entire student section SWARMED the field. The band was playing the whole time and kids moshed, partied, and even just layed on the field smoking joints. GO BUFFS
Omg... i was at this game and i witnessed this . I stayed 2 more hrs. bc it was so funny to watch. so mant ppl got maced. The railing of the student section actually broke bc the students rushing the field. I will never forget this awesome moment
That's why you had a "Scarlet-Out" in 2006 and acted like you won the national championship when you squeaked past a young Penn State team that practically gave the game to you, right?
In 2005, Penn State had come out of the "dark ages" of 2000-2004. This game was considered the "real test" to see if Penn State was back. And Penn State won 17-10 in a game not quite as close as the score.
This was one of the best games I can remember. Despite the close score, it was a blowout really. Penn State completely shut off Ohio State's offense. The Buckeyes were never really in that game at all.
And that same team that lost to App St. beat Florida in Florida. And for those people that criticized Ohio St. and Michigan for playing Div. II schools, look at other teams. Florida, LSU, Kansas St.,etc all played Div. II schools long before Buckeyes or Michigan did. Florida played Div. II schools a lot of times over the years. LSU played App St. a couple years ago and it was a fairly close game, and they play them again this year.
i was on the field when that happened. every security guard but ours was trying to hold the students back, and i got an email from penn state's student newspaper asking if i got cited for criminal trespassing because quite a few did. guards literally had mace extinguishers that would have blinded a small country in one shot
PSU kicked our asses so hard that night. I'm always nervous when we play Penn State, but playing at Happy Valley is like playing in Hell. Needless to say, I'm not feeling too good about this year, with a new OSU offense against Penn State's perennial defensive powerhouse, the outcome doesn't look too bright for my Buckeyes.
This game was definitely one of the best games ive ever been too.. how about Nebraska 2002? nothing beats when Adam Taliaferro RAN out on the field!! Beaver Stadium is just a magical place and you have to be there to feel it. I feel sorry for anyone who has not been to a game and encourage all to attend!!! WE ARE PENN STATE
That game was nuts! I saw it in HD through a digital projector on my friend's wall (probably an 8 ft. screen diag.) and when they showed the white out under those lights, it was simply eerie. Even though my Bucks lost, cheers to having such awesome pride.

It's funny...the high of both 2005 and 2008 was beating OHST and then heartbreaking losses soon followed...DAMN YOU MICHIGAN AND IOWA
That said, what a game this was. I wish I could have been there.

And that riot was pushed out of the stadium and into downtown, where panic ensued all night.

Actually it's a big deal beating the #6 team in the country...anyone would be ecstatic.

Wow, I love how anytime someone beats Ohio State, it's a huge deal. Says a lot for the program. When Penn State loses, it's just another day.

of course its a big deal seeing that ohio state has been making it to the national championship

Well, this isn't the 2007 team your guys are facing this year. Penn State will win this year at the Horseshoe.
