There's two men involved in the trick - both midgets. The "man" is one midget sitting on another midget's shoulders, covered up by the shirt and jacket. They just split apart as they walk through the table. The guy on top is just shuffling along with his legs crossed. He covers his exit from the table with the jacket while he wraps his legs around the guy's shoulders under the table, and he's a full "man" again.

When you see one magic trick, you've seen them all. The camera men and the fake waitress/actress are in on it. The middle section from the side can be removed before he enters. He exits the same way, its just not filmed. He can cover any gaps with his arms and jacket. Once the guy has walked through half of it, the cloth covering is obviously put back by the crew... the camera men films other camera men just to make it look like they are not getting away with anything but they are in on it
