So much could have been learned from these people, their beautiful and harmonious way of life. But there was no patience, no tolerance... simply greed. We don't learn from this, we never have. And so, the past repeats itself through us all as every day passes. Terrible.

yes anette's voice is a bit more... humm... fussy. I liked tarja more. I liked nightwish the way they were. I liked opera and metal the way they played. Anette is good too, but I would prefer that they got another girl who could sing opera. I think the new songs would feel much bigger too with orchestra and opera and metal. But, they had to change style so... The music is still very good, but liked it better before. That's just the way I feel about it.

Her singing is very good, but because Tarja orginially began with this group, its very hard to get used to the music when its direction is completely different. I don't like the "pop" feel that Annette has brought to their music and yes, I would have preferred another opera singer to fill the spot.

I was a nightwish fan more than anything, but now I am not even listening to it anymore. Metallica is now my favorite band, and they don't change their style much

You can't compare them because they aren't the same type of voice. Tarja is a trained opera singer, Anette isn't. I agree Tarja's voice is gorgeous, and I prefer her singing certain songs more, but Anette's voice is good too. I saw them in concert some months back I didn't think I'd like hearing someone else sing Sleeping Sun, Anette did a great job. You're bias because you've heard Tarja sing so many good songs. I like Anette because she doesn't try to be Tarja, she sings her way and it works.

When i was doing my singing training, i was a mezzo soprano (and what a time that was). I understand completely; just remember there are some people who know what they're talking about out there.
