Forge world is good, but i think they shouldve allowed you to pick a dessert, docks, forest, savannah, city etc forge worlds and i think it would be cool to put (non flyable) Pelicans a phantoms around. Also you should be able to put drop pods in maps. E.G the games says "Press RB to get in drop pod" you get in then it says "Press RB to fire drop pod" and then boom your drop pod falls into the battle. Marines and Brutes would also be a good add on - along with Maybe Cruisers for each side maybe?

@Starocean980 Bungie should release different piece texture as downloadable content along with a new Forge map pack. Maybe the old sand texture from Sandbox. And maybe Bungie should have Forge items called Elements (ex: have rain fall on the stage). That would be cool.
@akurokudemdem that would be cool, I also think the should let you do more than just forerunner structure. like human structure or covenant structure would be cool. And you should be able to forge Pelicans, Phantoms, Troop Hogs, and maybe bring back the Spectre from
Halo 2. The covenant need vehicles that hold more than just two people.
This level looks very cluttered. On ground there wouldn't be any distance to really test the skills of aim. Up top you could snipe, but down low one guy with a shotty could dominate. It's not very even. Maybe open things up a big so people can have a far shot with an assult rifle. The style is great though, and the feel to it is nice. Just alot of little things scattered about.

There's tons of space to have long range battles within the streets, and even when hiding around the buildings it's hard to use the shotgun because it's still pretty open. Also, if you read the description, this is a remake of another map, so it's the way it is because of that.
In the games I've had on it everything was suprisingly well balanced,
@Starocean980 Being a remake of a level from a different game series doesn't have much relevance. For halo game play it's pretty cluttered, so many rooftops that the whole battle would be rooftop which doesn't make for a fun level.
@jrdudedj It does, since if it was greatly altered it... wouldn't be a remake anymore? Obviously you haven't played on it since the games I've had, with full 8 on 8 or 7 on 7 teams, had everything balanced well, not a lot of people on the rooftops, and sniping was both easy in some places and hard in others, even when perched overlooking the map from the hangar. People even used the turrets to good effect carrying them around. It worked much better and differently than you're assuming.
@Starocean980 That's why if the terrain doesn't favor the map I'm making, I usually use Colliseum walls to make a flat piece of land, then build on it. IMO the worst part of Forge World is the lack of flat land.
@akurokudemdem I agree, (that and how every map ends up looking the same because of the metallic textures). It was a pain having to make a giant floating plain out of those walls as a base for this map. And I'll likely have to do it for most maps.
@akurokudemdem Yeah I've been thinking about it. With the new limits maybe I won't have to chop off the freezing chamber again.
I was trying Hoth but I wasn't happy with how it fit into the canyon, because I couldn't make the tunnels connect right between the rebel base and the outpost in front of it, and I refuse to use teleporters since then the map will be a "camp the teleporters"-fest.
@Starocean The crashed space ship needs to be bigger and more round the boat thing in the middle of the place on the top its spossed to be a cross or a t not a straight thing and the platform under the crashed shace ship needs to be bigger and all have rails other than that this is a fucking AWESOME map and spot on
@Avenga75 I know, but good luck finding the budget for it. I cut as many corners as possible without dropping parts of the map entirely to free up money for details on others. It's great everyone knows the map well enough to spot missing details, but I loved it a ton too, and I had to balance money between detail and structures the best the budget and limits allowed.

nice layout an every thing but my problem is that it the map is off a little like a couple of the structures are backwards some arent even there missing turrets (maybe you ran out) the scafoldings are too short but thats just the peices are just a bit bigger that the people so it had to be that way. but i give it a 4 of 5
@KrtAnimal I know, but this can't be an exact remake, I hat to compress it so some things were taken out or re-arranged a little, like the turrets on top of some buildings I couldn't afford, and there weren't enough block pieces to make enough buildings. This is really as close as it can get without raping whole parts of the map, so I focused on important overall aspects.
Colden't BOTH of the renvars work in blood gulch? the vehicles one is a no brainer to put in blood gulch, because of the near identical shape, but also with proper green lighting, you could use the cave system as the crstyal caves in the vehicular one.
( not to mention that a wraith has a shockingly similar shape to a droid tank)
anyways, also, you could use to gulch in forge world, to make the lower ground area of the non vehicular one ( im pretty sure its called the citadel).
@LegoWorldCrisis Oh I already know and tried it. it's that it's not the same shape. Remember the huge mountain seperating the bases with the ice caves inside it? Well making that mountain I don't know if I can do, and even so it'll be a bitch and cost a ton of forge funds. Otherwise I can do the rest no problem, but I'm not sure even the canyon is the right size or shape.
@LegoWorldCrisis although it would be inverted, could you not just build a rock wall on one side of the caves, and then they would tunnel to the other side? i dunno, personaly i would rather see you make the citadel anyways. ( the non vehicular one). which is much more flexible in terms of the shape of the gulch.
also, although it would really eat up your budget and you would have to get creative, coulden't coruscant be one of the sky-made maps, like the bepsin platforms?
@LegoWorldCrisis That's what I was thinking to do, just I still don't know if I could get the caves to be right and mountain to seperate the two sides of the map well enough without it either sucking up a ton of budget or/and being so big that there's not much room to go around the end of it between sides within the canyon area.(Like you remember how much free space there was in the real map)

Yeah it could. Those big ass arena walls like I sed to make the floor and walls of Mos Eisley right here would work well, though I still don't really know what to do with it to make it interesting for Halo, since it was one of the few maps in BF that was mostly just a big open room and somg wide hallways. Though the contrast of the outside would be nice.
@LegoWorldCrisis Yeah I agree that one could probably be done. It'd probably be shorter than the original map, but besides that between the island and the beach by that big tunnel in forge world, I think thatd be a good place.

@LegoWorldCrisis Well don't blame me, you can blame the limits. Everything has to be smaller to fit it in, unless you'd want to play on only half the map with full scale. Bespin is grossly smaller too, but there's nothing you can do about it. Plus honestly if they really were as big as BF, they'd be too big for Halo. Lol I got a lot closer than in Halo 3 but I still had to cut down some stuff. And if there would have been more basic block pieces I could have made more "houses."

@LegoWorldCrisis Lol I still don't know about Coruscant, but I've definately been wanting to make both Rhen Vars. I tried both in Halo 3 but they just needed too much to make. The biggest problem I'll have making them in reach is finding a spot in Forge World they work at.

Though not droidekas, since you can't make one loadout have specific traits other than weapons and armor abilities. And you can't make their color brown either, it doesn't work like that.

@CMAT17 I actually wanted to make all the turrets shade turrets at first, but when I tried they just looked too obnoxious on the map, and since they were so noticable you were more likely to be killed using one than a regular turret which is a little more discrete beside being able to pick it up and walk off with it. I see where you're coming from, but I thought they were a little too big for the map compaired to the other turrets.
@MegaPackster You mean Arena? I was actually already lanning on that one. I'm just looking for a good spot on forge world to do it on. I already made it for Halo 3 and have a video of it too.
@TheSecretservis It's impossible to scale it fully, this is as close as you can get within forge limits while still adding weapons, etc. Not to mention I used up all the blocks on buildings as it is.
@MrThestonedguy You need wireless internet and an Xbox 360 adapter. Unless you have the xbox set up next to a computer where you plug in the ethernet cable.
@Starocean980 Yeah, I remember my first time trying to set up Live. I ended up breaking off the ends of my A/V cables inside of my TV... Anyway, either find a way to connect TV to internet modem via ethernet cable, or spend 100 big ones and get the convenient wireless adapter.
@Fuffuloo Yeah and that $100 for just the adapter is some bullshit just to connect to internet you already have, plus buying a router if you don't already have wireless. I needed it since my TV's on a different floor of the house than the computer.

@MrThestonedguy Yes. THough if you have our TV and Xbox not cose enough to use the cable you need to buy an xbox wireless adapter. And a wireless router if you don't have wireless internet. Look up the adapter, googling is not that hard.

@MrThestonedguy Yes you can. The point I'm making is does your TV and xbox sit close enough to your computer to use an ethernet cable? If it does, then you're good to go and just need to use that. Just plug it into the xbox and into your modem.
But if it's not, and say, the Xbox and TV is on a different floor of the house, then you'll need a router and adapter to do it wirelessly since the ethernet cable won't reach.
@5432109876dk Lol Thanks man. I have the bases set to where they are in Battlefront, with one in the area I start the video and the other between the buildings on the side of the hangar. I have it set for territories(Battlefront conquest), slayer(of course) CTF, and I even added stockpile because I thought it would be fun for this map.

You should make a Cloud City map. With the budget, you can probably make it much bigger than your Halo 3 version.
And maybe make some bigger BF2 maps. I've started on a Hoth one, and it looks OK so far (not much built yet).

These battlefront maps are the best! I hope they make battlefront again on xbox with improved everything because i played that game for years straight and never got bored. Very good game, better than halo I would say.

nice layout an every thing but my problem is that it the map is off a little like a couple of the structures are backwards some arent even there missing turrets (maybe you ran out) the scafoldings are too short but thats just the peices are just a bit bigger that the people so it had to be that way. but i give it a 4 of 5

@KrtAnimal I know, but this can't be an exact remake, I hat to compress it so some things were taken out or re-arranged a little, like the turrets on top of some buildings I couldn't afford, and there weren't enough block pieces to make enough buildings. This is really as close as it can get without raping whole parts of the map, so I focused on important overall aspects.

Colden't BOTH of the renvars work in blood gulch? the vehicles one is a no brainer to put in blood gulch, because of the near identical shape, but also with proper green lighting, you could use the cave system as the crstyal caves in the vehicular one.
( not to mention that a wraith has a shockingly similar shape to a droid tank)
anyways, also, you could use to gulch in forge world, to make the lower ground area of the non vehicular one ( im pretty sure its called the citadel).

@LegoWorldCrisis Oh I already know and tried it. it's that it's not the same shape. Remember the huge mountain seperating the bases with the ice caves inside it? Well making that mountain I don't know if I can do, and even so it'll be a bitch and cost a ton of forge funds. Otherwise I can do the rest no problem, but I'm not sure even the canyon is the right size or shape.

@LegoWorldCrisis although it would be inverted, could you not just build a rock wall on one side of the caves, and then they would tunnel to the other side? i dunno, personaly i would rather see you make the citadel anyways. ( the non vehicular one). which is much more flexible in terms of the shape of the gulch.
also, although it would really eat up your budget and you would have to get creative, coulden't coruscant be one of the sky-made maps, like the bepsin platforms?

@LegoWorldCrisis That's what I was thinking to do, just I still don't know if I could get the caves to be right and mountain to seperate the two sides of the map well enough without it either sucking up a ton of budget or/and being so big that there's not much room to go around the end of it between sides within the canyon area.(Like you remember how much free space there was in the real map)

Yeah it could. Those big ass arena walls like I sed to make the floor and walls of Mos Eisley right here would work well, though I still don't really know what to do with it to make it interesting for Halo, since it was one of the few maps in BF that was mostly just a big open room and somg wide hallways. Though the contrast of the outside would be nice.

@Starocean980 hey, ill bet that with the grassy aroma, the beach, and water in forgeworld, you could EASILY re-create kashike from battlefront 2!
its a simple map, but its the perfect atmosphere in comparison with forgeworld

@LegoWorldCrisis Yeah I agree that one could probably be done. It'd probably be shorter than the original map, but besides that between the island and the beach by that big tunnel in forge world, I think thatd be a good place.

@Starocean980 im not complaining, ( i love your maps), but i must say that I was slightly disapointed with the mos eisly map. everything is in its place, its just that almost everything is extremely under-scaled. no offense to you or nothing.
just looked larger in the video thats all.

@LegoWorldCrisis Well don't blame me, you can blame the limits. Everything has to be smaller to fit it in, unless you'd want to play on only half the map with full scale. Bespin is grossly smaller too, but there's nothing you can do about it. Plus honestly if they really were as big as BF, they'd be too big for Halo. Lol I got a lot closer than in Halo 3 but I still had to cut down some stuff. And if there would have been more basic block pieces I could have made more "houses."

@LegoWorldCrisis Lol I still don't know about Coruscant, but I've definately been wanting to make both Rhen Vars. I tried both in Halo 3 but they just needed too much to make. The biggest problem I'll have making them in reach is finding a spot in Forge World they work at.

@LegoWorldCrisis True, but it'd be a lot less fun not being able to pick up other weapons and stuff I think. Especially when you run out of ammo, since ammo droids were what took care of that in Battlefront.

@Starocean980 ah, the ammo thing is a good point. by the way, I never watched the whole vid, but is there loadouts? because those would make good replacepments of classes.
a brown one with 160% walking speed and a drop shield, and a plasma repeater would be a good droidika ( for example).
and, well spartans already convieniently look like clones.
oh, and if you will exept a request, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD MAKE A CORUSCANT MAP. IT IS MY FAVORITE VIDEO GAME MAP OF ALL TIME.

@LegoWorldCrisis I do have a battlefront gametypes with everything you're talking about you know..
Though not droidekas, since you can't make one loadout have specific traits other than weapons and armor abilities. And you can't make their color brown either, it doesn't work like that.
I don't know, lol, it doesn't have much to it really.

@CMAT17 I actually wanted to make all the turrets shade turrets at first, but when I tried they just looked too obnoxious on the map, and since they were so noticable you were more likely to be killed using one than a regular turret which is a little more discrete beside being able to pick it up and walk off with it. I see where you're coming from, but I thought they were a little too big for the map compaired to the other turrets.

@TheSecretservis It's impossible to scale it fully, this is as close as you can get within forge limits while still adding weapons, etc. Not to mention I used up all the blocks on buildings as it is.

@MrThestonedguy You need wireless internet and an Xbox 360 adapter. Unless you have the xbox set up next to a computer where you plug in the ethernet cable.

@Starocean980 Yeah, I remember my first time trying to set up Live. I ended up breaking off the ends of my A/V cables inside of my TV... Anyway, either find a way to connect TV to internet modem via ethernet cable, or spend 100 big ones and get the convenient wireless adapter.

@Fuffuloo Yeah and that $100 for just the adapter is some bullshit just to connect to internet you already have, plus buying a router if you don't already have wireless. I needed it since my TV's on a different floor of the house than the computer.

@MrThestonedguy Yes. THough if you have our TV and Xbox not cose enough to use the cable you need to buy an xbox wireless adapter. And a wireless router if you don't have wireless internet. Look up the adapter, googling is not that hard.

@MrThestonedguy You only use the ethernet cable if your xbox/TV setup is close enough to your computer to. Otherwise you need the adapter and router.

@MrThestonedguy Yes you can. The point I'm making is does your TV and xbox sit close enough to your computer to use an ethernet cable? If it does, then you're good to go and just need to use that. Just plug it into the xbox and into your modem.
But if it's not, and say, the Xbox and TV is on a different floor of the house, then you'll need a router and adapter to do it wirelessly since the ethernet cable won't reach.

@5432109876dk Lol Thanks man. I have the bases set to where they are in Battlefront, with one in the area I start the video and the other between the buildings on the side of the hangar. I have it set for territories(Battlefront conquest), slayer(of course) CTF, and I even added stockpile because I thought it would be fun for this map.
