  • Moves Like Jagger, only Mick can pull it off :D

  • 2:31 The original moonwalk! :)

  • '''we luv rolling stones'' amazing

  • hes the justin beiber of his generation, woder which one id rather be apart of

  • Number one when I was born!

  • @Maliceuk Me too! Thumbs up for all us '64 models :~)

  • i think this is from the TAMI show - I was there and it was so amazing. James Brown was incredible and so many great bands on one stage. I was in Jr. high school and it does look like a lot of 13-year olds in the audience.

  • Was this from the TAMI?

  • To me, this is some of the best Stones music. I especially like this film, not sure what venue it was, but obviously, they are really playing, none of this sing along to the studio stuff playing guitars that are not plugged in. Anyone's guess what show it was?

  • moves like Jagger

  • Rock and Roll is strength power and projection. I'm sorry but The Beatles didn't have it. The Stones definitely did and had all of those elements to spare.

  • Keith "Chuck Berry" Richard.

  • ''60 RULE!!!

  • The Stones Rock .....

  • @TheNokie65

You old fart. If you dislike British Musicians paying tribute to the Chicago Blues greats by emulating them then stop listening and go back to your Lynyrd Skynyrd shit.

  • Comment removed

  • @ciaobellakate the stones were, and still are brilliant , and im a 64 year old fart ha ha ha

  • @mancity267

An old fart with good music taste! Haha.

  • @mancity267

    Right U R!

I'm of the opinion the Stones are easily one of the best, if not the best rock n' rollers in history.their longevity is remarkable!

  • @TheNokie65 What utter rubbish! Keef and Mick started The Stones - Keef was a far better guitarist than Brian Jones!

  • Played in 1964? .It's pretty fast.& Punk rock music didn't exist yet.

  • What a pity Brian Jones got so drugged up. He was by far the best guitarist of his era.

  • awesome

  • What makes this video great is everything....the band playing, girls screaming, good camera work although they should have done more shots of Brian Jones, the band moving while playing. If you watch the Byrds...American band...all they do is stand still, no movement with the song....but most British bands had charisma.

  • Mick's dancing is the only thing that keeps me going.

  • A version of this song was used to advertise Insignia deodorant and shower gel. Remember that advert? LOL

  • KEITH!!!!

  • brian jones actually had a amazing voice, really should have sung more.

  • Must be on Ed Suulivan show, instead singing my ass open he sings my nose open lol love this song

  • u rock no u rock no u rock no u rock no u rock no u rock no u rock no

    your turn to cry baby

  • Look at 1;46-1;50...Mick's confidence explains his success...Brian should've known a cat like that would steal the spotlight!!

  • which album is this on?

  • fab isnt he just before his time he is ace awesome jagger could watch him all the time x

  • An extraordinary cover song ever!!

  • wow they kicked ass with this one- rea l nice

  • Mick Jagger and his Mash Potato Moves....Brilliant,Makes me smile...Love this track.

  • T.A.M.I.

  • Look at Mick Jagger bounce... He really worked hard to be a rockstar....whereas beatles could have gotten twice the screams by just smiling

  • Hi! This is Hangover Dose !

Subcribe to the channel if you like our videos, Haha !

You can also listen to our compositions on the myspace page (Link on the Video)

    Hehe

  • Great song and I'm glad Brian is with them here.Love a lot of the stones songs.

  • Does Brian look Cool as hell in this or what?

  • 1:04 - 1:20 beautiful camera pan, it really shows the energy in mick and brian aswell as the audience!

  • Must see after 1:15 WOW CLASSIC !!!

  • Comment removed

  • @fogologo100 It wasn't 'his' band, he was the founder, came up their name, got them their first gigs. None of that gives him complete power over the direction of the band. The fact is at the time it was (and sadly still isn't) necessary for a group to compose and perform their own songs in order to stay successful. Brian was more interested in doing blues covers and couldn't write songs to save himself.

  • i was at this concert i never forget the crowd went wild, i thought hello goodbye beatles

  • Best version ever of this song. I love it.

  • brian fuckin jones!!!

  • @AndreaVaj Yeah, and Slick Mick !

  • Comment removed

  • @AndreaVaj the first and only true rockstar!!!!!

  • Haven't seen that in years. Mick making moves after following James Brown's act.Great historic stuff.

  • love how raw this is.

thanks alot it really is all over now

  • Mick Jagger is the sexiest man alive! Goddamn!

  • is youtube trying to be likefacebook?

  • the greatest rock and roll band in the world....."The Rolling Stones" may they roll on and on. If you dont like them, as Howard Stern said many times about his show, go and turn the station or in this case...go away....

  • What has Mick Taylor done since leaving the Rolling Stones? Vanished into oblivion! Brian founded and made the group famous, but deteriorated. Taylor was merely a cog in the machince, yet was a very good guitarist. Ron Wood seems to fit into the Stones much easier...

  • j'adore voir Mick danser c'est tellement styler ! :)

  • At 2:24, Mick sings something different than "Because I used to love her", if you watch it carefully...

  • fantastic

  • Great video, shame about the sound being out of sync !!

  • At the end of the day

none of us know what really went on, so I think it's unfair to judge mick keith or even charlie as 'bullies' just based on what we believe from whatever's been written.

  • One of my favorite Stones' songs....love it live here!!!!

  • yep

  • Does Mick say' "hurt my NOSE open" instead of EYES @ 0.18

  • @frank19593 Yes, he does. Those are the original lyrics. 'Eyes' is the commercial version for the youngsters. Its a sexual thing.

  • @frank19593 - YES! THIS IS TRUE.

  • Brian was the leder of the group.

Check out the early album instruments credits and you'll see Brian played everything.

I saw them in 1965 and two other times with Brian and the girls went nuts everytime he made a move.

I grew up in those days. It was a great time to be young.

  • @dfuge10224 in 1965 I was 13, yes brian was the key player in that band, no doubt. yes, he played and did it all, after he died the Stones went in anotherm direction which was so sad. Brian was my favorite Stone

  • @pkappel006 My favorite, too. I will always miss Brian.

  • @dfuge10224 It was a wonderful time to be young. All the shlock rock disappeared overnight. All of a sudden we were lifted out of our stupor and filled with the wonder of new sounds and new heroes.

  • no description needed we know this is the greatest rock and roll band in the world the rolling stones

  • The Stones best music was in this period when they were more BLUES influenced.

Perhaps it was good that Brian Jones never lived to see the commercial rubbish

    that came later.

    R I P Brian Jones (member of club 27)

  • Well, baby used to stay out all night long She made me cry, she done me wrong She hurt my eyes open, that's no lie Tables turn and now her turn to cry Because I used to love her, but it's all over now Because I used to love her, but it's all over now Well, she used to run around with every man in town She spent all my money, playing her high class game She put me out, it was a pity how I cried Tables turn and now her turn to cry
  • Is it me, or is Bill Wyman the coolest Stone in the earlier videos such as this one?? He has such a bad ass presence that Brian, Keith, and of course Mick would soon take full ownership of.

  • @Gyphia They called it "pulling". Must have done thousands and thousands and thousands and thousands....(my hand is getting tired...). One of the Stones "Top 10 songs" for sure.

  • One of my favorite Stones' songs.and one of the best Keith solos ever...with great signature guitar lines by Brian....I remember in June 1964 that WINS radio with Murray the K interviewed the Stones live on their first US visit and played them the Valentino's "It's All Over Now" and Stones raving about it as "their kind of song"...he also played them some Slim Harpo...next thing you know, the Stones were recording this as a big UK hit (and also Top 40 in US) that same year

  • Holy sh*t, can I listen to some music? Sounds like they're playing in a turkey slaughterhouse before thanksgiving

  • @DastardlyBosko i laughed my ass off!! XD

  • @DastardlyBosko What? Are you thirteen? This is the best audio had to offer in 1964/1965. As primitive as it was, it was and still is a damned sight better than anything out today.

  • @bella6626 I thought it was obvious I was referring to the females in the crowd screaming. Not the quality of the recording.

  • singdig 1965, james brown was on before the stones

  • Comment removed

  • Mick is dong the "Ministry of Silly Walks" RE: Monty Python.

  • me encanta komo baila mickkk y brian te amoo

  • genius that still inspires today

  • Played at my Grandma's Funeral.. What a way to exit the world!

  • @RossOfRochdale Awesome that's so cool. She's a Rainbow was played at my aunty's funeral. Goin' out in style ;)

  • @RossOfRochdale You used to love your grandma but dont anymore?

  • @RossOfRochdale

Your gran must have been a class act fella!

  • @RossOfRochdale your gran had fab taste...........56 myself and still listening to the guy.............

  • @RossOfRochdale I knew your Nan, she was a good un ;)

  • electric !!

  • What a fucking dancer and frontman Mick is.

    Jagger = GOD

  • @boazyu Jagger was and still is an egotist and a bully. He pushed Brian out of the group so he could take over. He said is was because of Brian's drug use, but he went on to do more drugs and get arrested more and perform f'd up all the time. He and Keith sent Thorogood over to Brian's to work at Cotchford. Brian was killed and ripped off. Everything of value was stolen. How much ended up in Mick's and Keith's collections?

  • @bella6626 Did he tell you that: you'll never know that's how rumors a spred

  • @bella6626 Did he tell you that: you'll never know that's how rumors a spread

  • @EverForHeather I have no idea which post of mine you are replying to. If it was about Jagger/Richards bullying Brian, it is factual based on several eye witnesses and several biographers. Read Stone Alone. If you don't believe the biographies, maybe you will believe Bill Wyman, who kept a journal and had no reason to lie.

  • @bella6626 You are way off the mark.

  • @bella6626 I think it was Allen Klein who sent Keylock and indirectly Thorogood to Brian's house.

  • Bill is trolling for chicks

  • replace micks face with justin biebers face and you have a good example of american mainstream media.

  • Rock anr Roooooolll !!!!!!

  • A wonderful performance of It's All Over Now by the Rolling Stones (the Stones first #1 hit). A song originally recorded by The Valentinos; with lead singer Bobby Womack. The Valentinos version was produced by the legendary Sam Cooke. I love music history!

  • fantastic jagger dance in middle instrumental break in song

  • Check out the original by the Valentinos, sung by Bobby Womack.

  • great great band awesome! unbelievable that they were sooooo good back in the day and now still amazingly good i mean its the best live band ever they still are great live and they were great live

  • Would any band get that kind of response from the audience now?

  • @leftcoast67 haha, nope!

  • @leftcoast67 Yeah, The Rolling Stones! lol

  • So raw.. The first punkrockers, hehe

  • Love this sooo much! ♥ Can not thank you enough for posting this! Kazu69545~ ♥

  • I think he might be overcool in calling Keith Richards "Ricky" I dunno.

  • I always loved the BIG chords near the end of this song - great to see a performance where they hit it

  • Brian's guitar is a Vox 'teardrop'. Check out the Vox website for more info.

  • What kind of guitar is Brian playing? I've seen him playing the same guitar in a lot of the early Stones songs.

  • strolling bones still luv ya!!!

  • Thanks for post this great video from 64. Truely live, the Stones were fu4king great. Jags vocals and Ricky on lead, no doubt about it, Ricky the one and only lead guitarist for this band. Check out that great Les Paul with the bigsby. Holy sh1t. I seem them doing a few other numbers with the same gear. Id like to get a whole set of whatever they did during this time - you know - without the miming

  • @DrBorko Who's Ricky ?

  • @DrBorko lmao who is ricky

  • 65 000 comments and no dislikes!!!! people know better when it comes to THE ROLLING STONES

  • Rolling stones forever!!!

  • I love Brians Vox Mark III PHantom. What a sound he got from that guit. The bassline on this song is over the freaking top.

  • dancing with that suit???? that is dancing with style!!!!

  • Roll on Stones forever.

  • Mick learning to dance...............

    cool!!!

  • This song was the Stones first number one hit and written by Bobby Womack. It was recorded at 2120 S Mi Ave ( title of very cool instrumental also )in Chicago, Chess Records , the label of Blues artists they learned from. When they walked into Chess Studios Muddy Waters was painting the ceiling. Hmmm... If you want to stay on the payroll , get to work.

  • mick jagger is one fuck of a performer. especially then!

  • mick kicks butt

  • LA MUSIQUE A PERDU UN DES MEILLEURS GUITARISTES AVEC BRIAN

  • OMG!!!

  • What a dancer Mick is ! Awesome !

  • happy birthday bill wyman

  • Yea I remember when I heard about Brian...I had just moved from Massachusetts to California. Sitting around talking with friends and someone said something about how sad about Brian Jones...it is still hard to fathom today.

  • When Brian died the Rolling Stones were no more.

  • @EnglishG3nt Although I respect your opinion I have to disagree. I love all The Stones eras, and I think all of them make them the greatest R&R band in the world. And I love Brian, but my opinion the Mick Taylor era is by far their golden age, superior to both the Brian and Ronnie eras combined. And he had just as much influence on the band in his time as Brian.

  • i hate every Stones comment thread - Brian Jones was a talented songwriter, but since he's dead, people want to make much more of him than he was - the stones moved on, he wasn't that important

and what's this fascination with Mick Taylor? - every swinging dick Stones fan wants to have some opinion about the lineup, and there's Mick, in a golden era - the guy wrote TWO (subpar) SONGS, people, and plays a mean slide, that's it - even Mick Taylor himself isn't so fascinated with Mick Taylor

  • @MultiNickDanger Your so wrong. You think because Mick and Kieth wrote the songs ALL the other guys didn't didn't have a huge impact on the music? Like they were just puppets and hired musicians? Give me a break, they all had their own unique style and had influence on the music. Both Brian and MT were a VERY important part of the band in their time, and had as much influence as Mick and Kieth.

  • @MultiNickDanger Mick Taylor said himself he used to argue with Mick and Kieth in the studio. He had a HUGE impact on the band. You think if MT didn't join and Brian lived we would have Sticky Fingers, Exile On Main Street, and Goats Head Soup? Give me a break. It's not that I'm fasinated with MT but he's my favorite and I feel he's underated and doesn't get his due credit in the band.

  • @TheRabidPosum Had Brian stayed with the Stones, they would have stayed on a blues/ r& b style. Saying that, they would faded away in the 70's. By the early 70's the English-American influenced blues sound had quickly died out and shifted to soft rock, progressive rock and some early punk. Brian, was only useful to the Stones till '69. He was a straight R&B guy and wouldnt change regardless. B/c of MT the Stones changed styles to Sticky Fingers & Exile on Main St. Just agreeing with u :)

  • @TheRabidPosum But you realize brian was still kicked out of the band, he could have made amazing music on his own and mick still could have been there to make those albums

  • @MultiNickDanger if the band continued with Brian they would have taken a totally different path, in my opinion. MT gave birth to a new Stones era, and took them to a new level. I honestly don't think they would have continued on in the 70's with the success they had in the 60's with Brian. I think they would have faded out, and we would not know the Stones we do today. We would look at them as a 60's band, Beatles and Stones era.

  • @TheYoungTurds1 @TheRabidPosum

I do give all credit to the songwriters, but I don't restrict that to Mick and Keef - Keef himself said in an interview that from one perspective, Charlie Watts has ghostwritten every Stones song, and obviously Bill Wyman had his input as well.

But songwriting is the thing that separates the duffers from the geniuses in the music business. I live in Nashville - I just got my car washed by a legendary slide guitarist, and my lunch was served by a one-hit wonder.

  • @MultiNickDanger Brian wasn't important? It was HIS band. HE hired Mick and Keith. He had a right to take HIS band in any direction he wanted.

  • wow - smokin!

  • the greatest...wtf is American Idol compared to this?

  • I didn't realize how much his "jimmy legs" reminds me of James Brown. It does.

  • all the lead singers for rock bands..they got it all from MICK...he was way way way ahead of his time .... without mick you dont have morrison, plant, daltrey...etc etc...bowie, rod stewart...and on and on....he pushed the envelope

  • Jones on backing vocals!

  • i wish i could dance like mick ...

  • God this band is great!!!

  • great cover

  • @shaneh1983 BETTER THAN BOBBY`S VERSION THO

  • I am glad I liked The Velvets more than the stones. They came a couple years later, fully formed. In fact, Lou Reed tried to pass The Rolling Stones a couple demos

  • thank god my dad made me listen to the stones :') best thing he's done for me haha

  • Juni 1964, Chicago, CRS: Note the apparent ease with witch the Young Turks totally refurbish the Valentino`s classic, nonchalanty re-arranged it so as to give the Womack' brothers song all the key characteristics of a bona-fide Jagger-Richard composition.

  • Uttelry brill..wooo hoo... IT ROCKS..

  • Gotta love those peg leg pants!

  • The Stones had to follow James Brown, who gave a MONSTER performance at the famous T.A.M.I. show of June 1964. Mick and the boys closed the show. But, to this observer, while this is a terrific show, too, it is hilarious watching Jagger trying to match James Brown's moves on the stage. PRICELESS. Enjoy.

  • @EricinOzWilliams James Brown's self-parody on Please Please Please is hilarious as well. I wish the Stones' take on Around and Around was on youtube - another totally kick-ass performance.

  • Mick is the greatest frontman in the history of rock. But there are also Keith, Bill Charlie, and most importantly Brian. With out Brian, there would be no Stones. We must never forget Brian Jones.

  • @1965simba I agree Mick is the greatest frontman ever in rock and Brian Jones was indispensable

  • @1965simba

    agreed...

to break it down simply....brian played the recorder on ruby tuesday...the part he played...and the way he played it...

better then if they hired some classical player from the london symphony orchestra...

so with brian..when i think of him...i say..brian man that recorder part u played..the ambiance and atmosphere that it created for that recording...

man..thats the shit..you gotta be the real deal to have contributed that part...

  • @1965simba Amen Brother .. many bands of today imitate the stones style and fire the stones display on stage..even today they make sure they satisfy the sold out crowds in stadiums...I've seen the stones six times in my lifetime and every time they are better ,,,they are like fine wine...watching this video brings chills down my spine and confirms why they are the greatest rock N Roll Band in the world...

  • @1965simba right on

  • @1965simba I had such a crush on Brian. I was 16 when I saw him in 1966 in San Jose. I kept a candy he kicked. I had that piece of candy for about 30 years. Hahaha. He was so cool.

  • Go listen to Bo Diddley's You Can't Judge a Book by it's Cover and you can hear the influence it made on this song.

  • oh god those were the days !!!! fantastic .you deserve a big squeeze for sharing this video ... thanx for a great post ... xxx Lyndloo

  • I have this from the TAMI show, 1964 and mine is of GREAT quality. They used to play this on VH1 many years ago and that's when I first discovered it. If you want this, buy the TAMI show. It's a great show with many stars including the Beach boys and Barbarians among early Motown stars.

  • BUT ITS ALL OVER NOW 45 FUCKIN YEARS LATER WHAT ASS KICKIN SHOW WOW!!!
