  • my 98 doesnt have a tors on it at all

  • so the box ur missen do u need that black box?? and do u need the thing on the carb on there

  • Iv have a banshee 2002 and it been driving me mad all weekend, ticks over perfectly but as soon as you try and rev it, it just bogged out, was the stupid tors sensor so ripped it out today and runs a dream again now.

  • Can you just cut the tors "brain out", or will it not work as it would if you cut all of the wiring out

  • @Mutantinfection Yes, you can just cut the 'brain' out and unplug the carburetor/throttle switches and be done with it. I just showed how to remove all the wiring at once since I don't like dangling plugs and wires. Its up to you as to how far you want to take the removal process.

  • what do this do for a blaster 200cc?

  • what do for a blaster 200cc?

  • what is the for?

  • Great vid....So after I remove the TORS, can I just ride or do I need a kit?

  • @anthalex8 Go riding! You don't need a removal kit; the kits you see for sale are just there to eliminate the 'brick' on top of the carburetor. It is a nice thing to install...makes working on the Blaster easier...but you don't need one to keep on riding. Just adjust the idle speed from the screw on top of the carburetor as opposed to having to drill and tap the carb for an idle screw if you install the kit.

  • Really Nice Tutorial , it did help me alot, thx

  • i need help contact me

  • Excellent tutorial job. I can use this tip for my banshee.

  • Great video! I have a question though, After I remove my tors box how will I adjust my idle?

  • @davidcn748 You have to buy a TORS removal kit. Vito's Performance, Motion Pro, and Moose Racing all make them for the Blaster. The kit comes with a new carburetor cap and a new idle speed screw which you install in your stock carburetor. You have to drill and tap the side of the carb to accept the idle screw. It is not hard to do as long as you follow the instructions and work carefully.

  • @PokedNStroked1030 Awesome! thanks for the reply, I am going to do this very soon.

  • @PokedNStroked1030 if i buy a new aftermarket carb does that eliminate the whole tapping process..how to remove the big bulky thing on the handle bars also?

  • @modernXdayXcaveman Yes, if you install a whole new aftermarket carburetor, there's no need to drill and tap your stock carburetor to accept the idle kit. As for the throttle housing on the handlebars, there's really no way to get rid of it unless you switch to a twist throttle. And I'd think twice before doing that. You might try a thumb throttle from a Honda ATV. They are smaller than the Yamaha unit and should work just fine.

  • @PokedNStroked1030 ..by the way im 2k1blastr) from blasterforums.

  • @davidcn748 You can adjust it from the throttle cable as well that's what I've been doing with mine since i cut the override wire.

  • sticky!!
